No option to keep king's looks is a Wolvden thing that must stay on Wolvden. It is one of the core traits that make Lioden unique and a great deal will people will be very upset if that was removed. Absolute no support to that idea.

I moved away from Wolvden once I noticed that you couldn't keep the look of your previous wolf and quite enjoy the fact that you can keep a king's look on here so honestly those idea's won't work either Ready Test.

I'm sure you don't see much use in the option with your rolled lion. But a lot of us have put a lot of effort in breeding projects or saving up for the perfect king, so...the option is greatly appreciated.

The option is really essential for the breeding projects. One of the main reasons I barely play Wolvden because I cant really do any projects... Ive tried a few but they all died out never reaching past 3 marks onto one wolf. Its just a waste of time to do breeding project when you cant keep your achievements in it!

if female leaders were unable to pass down their appearances to heirs, it would make them a hugely un-utilized feature by a great deal of the userbase.
making a particular lion a king is desired by players because a king can breed without the restrictions of pregnancy / heat cooldowns or of completely limited lifespans, and can quickly and easily be studded out for profit. this is the primary 'point' to many people of having a king. many players have specific breeding projects for specific traits that they tailor their king toward, and / or kings are often special lions that a ton of work has been put into breeding, so being able to keep these traits indefinitely on your king is very valuable. however, a female leader, as suggested in this thread, would be basically indistinguishable in purpose from any regular lioness. to set one as your leader would give you no benefits you wouldn't already have had from just keeping the lioness as a regular lion, and would also bar you from the existing benefits of having a male king, as things stand.

my king is a lioness to me, and has been for years -- there are many things i'm happy to just use my imagination with on a personal level, especially if i think implementing otherwise would be way too convoluted. it is a bit of a roleplay game, after all.

What about a random benefit if you crown a queen?

Ideas for a benefit:

- 50+ energy
- speed based moves are more likely to hit ( charge )
- heat cooldown -5 days
- 1 extra heat
- the queen can go hunting, while this happens, the heir of your choice takes over temporarily
- Queens can go on explore
- Gives 1 extra free sub male slot
- can attack for sub male spots

Nerfs:
- The extra sub male slot will disappear once the queen's reign is over
- you can ONLY attack for sub male slots as a queen
- Obviously lionesses can't keep looks once the time comes for a heir to be kinged/queened to prevent abuse with crunchy worms as Mad Hyena said.
