Since our girl Rose is a bit of a unique case, she needs a backstory! If you have any ideas, shoot us a PM! Without further a'mew, here's her story!
Light.
Tunnel.
Rushing Water.
Death.
Death.
DEATH.
DEATH.
DEATH!!!

You take in the deepest breath of air you've ever breathed.

Wh-who- what?

A stunning leopard... no- lioness... no that's not right either.

"I'm a leopon, I've seen that face one too many times."

You remember a lot more now. You fell into a rushing river, to save that little cub.
Heroics, always get the hero into situations like...
Well, usually the villain isn't this pretty.

She helps you get and up and tells you to rest.

Then she leaves.

You sit by the rivers edge, coughing up water.

She returns, with a very stocky hartebeest carcass in her jaws, ready to share. It's only now that you truly start to recognize how unique she looks.

It's obvious that she's more leopard than she is lion, but, you've never seen this many rosettes on a leopard OR leopon. You get curious, so over dinner, or whatever time of day it is, question her about her backstory.

"It's a peculiar one."

So, like all backstories, she starts at the beginning.

She was born, to a bland lioness and a leopard.

After she was born her mother and father came to the conclusion that she would be safer with her father rather than her mother. So, she was taken away by her father and his grove.

She was born like every other first generation leopon. One very unique pattern of rosettes, the leopard fur, the yellow eyes, but... something changed in her time with the grove.

Her eyes never seemed to stay the same color, day by day, her rosettes added on, and grew into her fur pattern. Her leopard instincts and skills grew powerful, with the strength of a lion and the will of a leopard she grew.

Her claws were sharp enough to dig into crocodile scales, in between the thinnest of branches in the trees.

Living with leopards is a unique experience.

"You never put a paw in the same place twice. If you do, you fall, you fail."

This was the rule of the climb. If you EVER put a paw in the same place again, you weren't moving ahead. Leopards don't fear the future. Leopards don't fall. Leopards move forward, never back. LEOPARDS DON'T FAIL.

So that was the way she lived, always on the move. And she loved it that way. Until it was June. Her third birthday. The Serpent Rose from the ground. It was the Savanna rotation for her grove. She got to visit her mother. Everyone thought the way leopards move is peculiar compared to other species on the Savanna.

They never moved backwards. When they prowled around, their paws never moved backward. Hell, they rarely stopped. So, when she visited her mother for the first time, with her grove, she felt peculiar.

The lions stepped back to pounce, they stopped SO MUCH, to sit, to talk, for EVERYTHING.

But, she loved her mother, and her mother loved her. So, she stayed the night with the pride. Granted, in a tree, but she was still there. When she awoke in the morning, there was a giant snake, the snake of CHAOS.

It took her mother.

She nearly was taken herself. The last time she ever saw her father, was her third birthday. She fell from her tree, because she stepped back.

His claws were dug into the tree, his tail wrapped around in, but he never reached out to catch her. If she lived, she would be known as the leopard who stopped, who stepped back, who fell, WHO FAILED

So she fell.

She awoke to Anubis. He seemed a tad.. nervous. Like he wasn't supposed to be there.

"So I asked him, what happened?"

He said to not blame herself. The serpent's ashes fell on her and coated her lungs in death. Anubis didn't deem it fair. So, he brought her back.

She sprang forward, wrapping her paws around his neck with gratefulness.

He smiled and shook her off. He then asked her to not tell anyone of this. He had the power of death, and many would call him unfair to have the power of life as well.

She left Anubis' den, knowing she could never return to her grove. So, she found this underground cave with a little underground river.

"This is where I've been for a few years now. It's how I found you."

She then stood up, and took the rest of the carcass, and walked backwards to take it out of the cave.

"You can go now. I hope you enjoyed the prey and the talk, but it's time for you to go."
