In the Dead of Winter is actually.. a spirit. Frozen to death in a watering hole after falling in during the winter, the lioness has been following the pride’s generations since. She has the means to talk and move about the mortal realm- so others can see her. They find her a bit odd, since it always feel like she’s carrying a cold breeze alongside her, but nobody questions it.

As Beautiful as a Sunrise hates how bright of a pink she is. She often hides in bushes and caves hoping that she won't bring attention to her pride. When something does attack she helps lead them away as her bright colors are hard to loose.

Rose is called the secret keeper for a reason. Not only does she keep the secrets of her pride, but also those of her pride mates. Despite her fearsome appearance, many of her fellow lionesses find comfort in confiding in her, whether it be their worries, troubles, or their own secrets. Rose has never shared any of her pridemates statements, despite pestering from the prides cubs and adolescents, who seem keen to stick their noses into others business.

Year Zero has a terrible record of setting things on fire and it's not allowed near any cub or dry grassy areas, but when they get mad the flames turn hotter and blue, Ana whenever they are asleep, everywhere around them turns freezing cold as their flames have stopped

Mind Over Matter is the stealthiest lion there is and hides in the grass, just to scare any other lion in the pride, they 100% like Too Few Tattoos

Morel was thrown to the local river when she was just a cub. Her current pride found her washed up on the shore, half-dead. As she grew to an adolescent- they finally named her 'Morel,' for her morals founded in the pride's religion.

They say that that the blue markings on her pelt are a mark of the gods, showing her past with the river's torrents.

The Blood on My Hands used to be the most motherly and most patient lioness in the pride. After returning alone to her pride after a long hunt, which had been with multiple other lions, coated in blood she returned to her den and remained there for two entire days. She didn't eat, didn't sleep, nor did she open her eyes. It was as if she was in a coma. Despite all the blood that soaked her pelt she bore not a single wound. Once The Blood on My Hands awoke from her seemingly endless sleep the rest of the pride went looking for the ones she had gone on the hunt with.

The territory in which the pride resided was desolate. Not a soul could be found within the vast expanse of land the pride called home. Nor could they find any signs that these lions had been killed, attacked, or even existed at all. It was as if they had just vanished, but that was not so. Despite there being no evidence of anything, the truth was that they had been slaughtered, and the evidence had been so carefully removed that it was like they were never there. Without enough evidence, The Blood on My Hands was not blamed for anything that happened, but she didn't need to be.

From that day on The Blood on My Hands was no longer the lion she once was thought to be. She became paranoid, cold, and silent. The remains of the lions she had slaughtered were never found, but she knew where they lay, beneath the earth. She was slowly losing her mind, and delving deeper and deeper into insanity, having to live with what she had done. She asked herself on a constant basis why she had done it, never finding an answer. Sometimes she thought that she might not want one.

Eventually, she managed to convince herself that she hadn't done the things she had, that those lions were not dead, and that they were safe within the pride, alive. She spends most of her time nowadays talking to herself in her den. Sometimes it seems as if she's talking to someone else, but no one can be seen with her.

One single day, one single event, changed The Blood on My Hands' entire way of life. It had broken her to pieces, and she had been forced to rebuild herself, just not in a good way.
