Sorry please clarify this I'm a little confused: So you breed until all the markings pass down and so on until you get all the markings passed down that you wanted? But is it possible for it all to be pass down into one single cub or does it build up until the final cub has all the markings? If it does build up, then how do you ensure that those markings will stay passed down, with their newly additional markings, without the use of gnawrocks because gnawrocks only allow one marking to be passed down per parent, right? And with the use of crunchies too since it copies the mother's entire base and markings but how does it pass new markings? And how do you maintain certain traits like BO manes/mane colors (without the use of items) and BO bases when breeding for each step? Does it all depend on luck? 0 players like this post! Like? |

It would build up until the final cub has all the markings. In general, the markings you're using for your breeding project are scattered, and tend not to be on the same lion, so you would have to breed until you get a cub with the previous step's markings + the new marking, king it, and repeat until all the markings you want is on the cub. Breeding projects in general rely a lot of luck. You won't be using breeding items to pass most traits, you'll just be breeding your lions together until you get what you want. This is also part of why it's so expensive and drawn out, many breeding projects can go on for years. My own personal breeding project has been going on for 7 months, soon to be 8. Luckily, markings, mane shape, and mane colors are all pretty easy to manipulate into passing nearly all the time if both parents have the attributes, as markings pass rates can go up to 75% without the use of gnawrocks, Mane Shape goes up to around 70%, and Mane Color can be guaranteed by both parents having the same Mane Color. 0 players like this post! It's more understandable, thank you. When you gathered all your needed traits onto one king and only need base left, it all boils down to breeding to lioness with that specific base and hope it passes down with all the traits right? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes! Though take note that you should start with the base, first, unless it's a combo base. Starting with the base will just make your life easier unless you have a reason not to start with it, like it being a combo base, or being an applicator base. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Great guide! I understand how to go about a breeding project a lot better. I'm starting a breeding project myself but I'm quite lost because I want specific traits but I don't have the currency to constantly rma or reking again and again. I have some lions that have the traits I want and I want to send over to my side to freeze because I don't know what to do with them yet. It's a pain to try to get all the markings you want onto one lion because they tend to go all over the place onto different cubs and all and the markings you don't want often pass so I'm pretty much stuck at a dead end right now. All I can think of doing at the moment is gathering the lions with the traits I want for breeding and finding studs for them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

awesome guide! So, question When you mean start out with the base first, what does that really mean? Like what if there's only lions that exist with the marking in the slot you want that DONT exist on the base you want? Should you still focus on the base even in cases of extremely rare marking slots? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes. With extremely rare marking slots, unless the only lion you've been able to get with it is a non sex changeable male, you can breed the marking slot to your King and produce cubs with the marking. If you're stuck with a non sex-changeable male with the slot, though, then I guess you could start with him, and then replace him with a lion with the base once you get a few cubs with the slot. Starting with the base makes your life a thousand times easier as you don't have to fight with RNG to breed it on to lionesses, after all, each lioness only has 7 heats (8 if you IBF), while a king can breed infinitely. You just get many more attempts if the king has your base. 0 players like this post! Like? |
