I've heard that it's just a huge pain and might take a year to finish (on average). I started it this month as well but I just took the quest so I have something to do when I'm bored. The only reward you get is the interstellar remnants and the "interstellar" title, which is not quite a huge reward for this kind of quest... And than the fact that you could potentially get the applicator for free in explore this month without the quest, doesn't make it any better lol.

Personally, I would say it’s not worth it. It’s a massive massive slog well beyond the starting investment. It would be worth it if you got small rewards along the way, but with it just being the one app right at the end, it definitely didn’t feel worth it to me.
Having to collect hundreds of herbs and visit hundreds of player pages, only to them have to do the same again a few steps later is a pain in the ass.
(My side account is still on the second round of herb collecting, so one year later I’ve only managed to complete the challenge on my main.)

The demiurge is very demanding, makes you go through a bunch of boring, strenuous things, like visiting hundreds of people's dens, sacrificing your cubs, fighting enemies, giving him 500 herbs, and more. I'm already on the quest so I might as well finish it, I think the only pro is that the interstellar remnant's sell price is sorta rewarding out of season

I think it’s worth it if you don’t plan to stress about it so much
The interstellar app is easily worth 100+ GB outside of July , and actually, all the interstellar remnants up on tc right now are going for a 100+ GB

it’s still very.. slow and daunting… if you’re thinking too hard about it.

Also I know one point was made that you could get for free in explore, but honestly, do not get your hopes up. If that app was actually common in July explore there would be a whole lot more up for way cheaper prices.

I think the whole point is the interstellar app is not supposed to be easy to get otherwise we would be looking at the same thing as all the other base apps that tank in worth. The interstellar remnants is hard to get no matter which way you get it, this just happens to be like a “guaranteed” way to get the app… it’s just.. a lot of people won’t do it because of what it requires so the app doesn’t really drop in value. That’s just my personal theory tho.

It's fine, but also... wish that you were rewarded for each chapter that you do. It took forever, and the pay out is... eh. I did enjoy doing all of the tasks but I do really, really wish that we were rewarded for the tasks in some little way.

I just took on the quest for the first time and I think it may be worth it. mostly to give me something else to focus on when crap gets a little boring lol I actually randomly stumbled upon the interstellar remnants a few days ago but I definitely won't complain if I get another one a year from now from completing this. I'm definitely gonna take my time tho ^.^

I have returned to this post to say I just found the interstellar remnants applicator randomly during exploring so now I'm really not sure what to do. I'll see if I can get to dreamboat status and get 5,000 sb before the month ends I guess.

If you’re smart and patient about it, then yep it’s worth it imo! For the herb quests, just wait until November when herbs are super common in explore, and stock up that way so you don’t have to spend SB :) the only other super big pain in the butt to do was the “visit 500 dens” ones, which are SO boring and time consuming since you have to individually click every single profile and manually “spread the news”. What I did was just open the Search in Crossroads, sorted Main Males by Player ID, and just opened like 10 profiles at a time in new tabs, then spread the word and closed the tabs one by one. I managed to do all the ones required in just one day both times by doing it that way. It might be easier for you to do like only 50 a day or something like that, not sure how tolerant you are of screens (I always just like to stuff like that all at once to get it over with tbh) so just make sure to pace yourself with those ones particularly if you need to :)

my sister played it and it took 3 years. You have to give up A LOT Of stuff - herbs, lions, etc, and i don't know because in July they sell for 40 , and collecting stuff for only 40 isn't worth it, so in my opinion, no. The quest is not worth it,
