Maplefern only nodded, too busy eating. She could feel the kits squirming in her belly, and she knew they would be welcomed to the world soon. She finished and went into the nursery, dozing.

Who’s the Tom you like, Moonflower?” She spotted a shrew, and dropped down into a hunters crouch, stalking the animal. Onyxcloud leaped when she got closer, claws extended. A moment later, she was walking back towards Moonflower, the shew clasped in her jaws.

Sharptongue smiled when she giggled at his flirtatiousness, then he laughed lightly. "Ah yes, when things were simple and our only goal was to prove to each other and eventually our mentors who was better at hunting and fighting. I swear they got tired of our competitiveness sometimes." he meowed with another small chuckle. "Well, I'd think I get annoying from time to time, but maybe you tolerate it better since we've known each other for as long as I can remember." he said with his usual lightheartedness. He hadn't changed a whole lot over the moons, but he'd gotten more flirty as a warrior, as he was exiting kithood and apprenticeship. He stopped briefly to scent the air, trying to catch some sort of prey scent, his tail swaying from side to side lightly.

The tabby and white she-cat, seeing things had settled down, began to head back to camp. She stopped a couple time to hunt and managed to snag a plump squirrel and a thrush and took them back to the camp. She had seen some of the patrol go off on their own, probably to hunt or have their own little discussions. She came back into camp and saw Moonflower and Onyxcloud had come back and were speaking about something. Moonflower whispered something to Onyxcloud, and Falconflight saw her eyes flick over to Nightsong. She felt a small amused smile curve its way onto her face as she walked over to the fresh-kill pile to deposit her prey. She picked up a mouse from the pile and looked around for a place to eat, spotting Bloodclaw over to the side of camp. She usually preferred the quiet tom's company. She walked over and lay down to eat her mouse, but not before greeting her clanmate. "Good evening, Bloodclaw! How's your day been so far?" she asked the black tom cheerfully.

Sharpcry said nothing, just grunted and headed towards the nursery. She sat for a while outside the nursery entrance, without saying anything, or heading into the den. "You seem good with kits" she meowed, casting a sideward glance at Mountainstep.

Cloudheart | CliffClan territory | Sharptongue

Cloudheart listened attentively to Sharptongue as he spoke about their kit-days. Again, she agreed, and their mentors had to go through a lot of competiveness. I'm the two off them, and although sometimes they seemed to find it funny, they'd often just shake their heads. She laughed slightly.

"Oh Sharptongue, you've probably thought that I was annoying as well. You must have at least once!"

She smiled at him, her eyes were fully open now, all tiredness was gone as the fun conversation had awoken her mentally. As she noticed that he had stop ro catch a scent of prey she did the same. Honestly Cloudheart often did the same thing as Sharptongue, it was somewhat like "follow the leader" what they played. Quickly she caught the scent of a squirrel and began following the trail quietly. She pressed herself to the ground carefully, making sure that her fluffy fur didn't rustle any leaves or sticks to scare the prey. As she got closer she could see it, the squirrel was chewing on a small hazelnut on the forest ground. She sneaked further, making sure that the wind was coming from behind the prey. That way the squirrel couldn't smell her before she smelled the squirrel, at least not if the squirrel didn't actually focuse on smelling. Cloudheart leaped from her position, nearly flying towards the squirrel and landing above it, biting it in the neck and pick it up before turning around to look back at Sharptongue.
