Deimos winced, his vision blurring as he quickened his pace to shelter. The panther's pupils thinned, flicking over the kingdom where wyvern swooped down and attacked like a meteor shower. If he wasn't severely injured he'd be enjoying this.

Nyxen stalked closer now realizing this panther wasn't all fur. His frame was dotted with the scales of a dragon. His piercing green gaze was now shadowed with a sudden exhaustion. His frame seemed to sulk almost swaying with the effort to stay standing. Chuffing angrily, she turned away. This wasn't a fight she should be picking, it'd simply be dishonorable. As she paced away she could hear the sound of his paws pattering away.

Dakota spun around to face the foe only to see Lady and a limp creature. He looked towards the she wolf finding her with wide eyes. Looking back to find where Jay had been, Dakota unfolded his wings and took off towards Lady. His injury had reopened with the strain allowing fresh blood to dribble down his feather.
"Are you alright?" She mainly appeared flustered but he was still concerned. Hovering in the air he looked back towards the castle. That was where most of the chaos was. "Should we head back, help out?"

Lady gazed at Dakota, only half paying attention, "Uh, yea, we need to get to the queen" lady snapped back to reality, remembering Deimos, the panther. "And Deimos too"
she shivers for a moment before lifting back off the ground, seeing her home flooded with flames.

The panther's fur bristled, watching wyverns and drakes run past him. They'd all flown off from him so he was pretty sure he was safe for now. Deimos lifted his head slightly, attempting to find where everyone else went.

Lady looked around, trying to find Nathalie. "Where did she go? I saw her when she took the cubs to the cage but she left again after that!"
The White lion reappeared from under the tree line, "Go save the queen! I will stay here; I have been moving others into the hideout." Lady blinked gratefully, giving her friend an affectionate flick of the tail before turning back to Jay and Dakota. "Are you guys ready? there is food and water nearby if we need to stop first because we might be carrying Jay."

Deimos quickened his pace, stepping over the blood shed. He pounced upon a tree and climbed the branch carefully for safety and laying down to take a break. Most of his injuries were from earlier so he didn't have any fresh wounds.

Dakota waited patiently for them to say their quick goodbyes. He glided down to Jay taking a moment to stretch. Once Lady joined them again, Dakota nodded. "I'm ready whenever." His pelt bristled, ears tugged back. A terrible day for the group that sheltered them to be attacked but such was life. For now he did not feel tired, not after that fight.

Nyxen found herself facing a large dragon. The creature stood on four taloned paws, its wings arched threateningly. Her tail flicked before she sneered with a lunge. Her talons sank through scales while the foe managed to rip fur from her flank. Both drew blood, neither backed out.
Nyx snagged a horn in her jaws causing the dragon to rear back in attempt to shake their attacker. In a last minute thought the foe fell to the side using weight to force Nyx to let go. Using her talons, Nyxen scrambled to release herself. She stumbled forward as the weight disappeared, she turned to find her enemy shakily flying towards the skylight. Grumbling with light annoyance, the eastern dragon slipped towards the entrance to the throne room.

Queen Dusk lay, still pinned under a wyvern, pissed. she finally made her move as the giant block head was distracted, twisting out from under them and ripping her claws across its stomach, she smiled as warm blood dripped down her face. "that's what you get for ruining my kingdom! you might as well take everything else too while you're at it!" she howls, pointing to the hall "jewels, shamans, whatever you've come here for!" she starts laughing, the crazy she had been disguising quickly showing.
quickly, the lithe queen rushes at enemy after enemy, her lust for blood evident!

Deimos watched the carnage, licking blood from his fangs and waiting for something to happen. His crystal-adorned tail glinted in the light, making him easy to see. But he definitely wasnt an easy target, so he didn't really mind being too visible in this massacre.

Lady set off, the scruff of the oversized wolf in her mouth "why are you so heavy" she mumbled around jay's fur. she turned to Dakota before setting off for the castle, scared for the Deimos, for her queen, and for her home. flying shortened the trip by a lot, but took much more of her energy when she was carrying half the weight of another wolf, so halfway back, as the dark of midnight set in, they stopped for a rest. "I can see it" lady said pointing to the tip of the castle, where she had lived for a year. "There are so many dragons and wyverns that even with the sunup the tower would look pitch black" she exclaimed.

Deimos leapt down from the branch, letting out a short roar. he was bored. the noise would either attract some enemies to fight, or that pathetic group from earlier. either way, it was better than dying in a tree. The panther raised his head towards the black sky, clouds staining the inky-blue darkness like mould. The wyverns still hadnt left, they were stubborn it seemed - at least not many of them were attacking him now, even despite his many injuries.

Ya I was waiting for Rin..))
Nyxen slipped into the throne room her gaze flicking over her surroundings. From the entrance she could see the Queen, the dragons talons easily slicing through scales. Her King could be heard snarling orders as he himself pinned a guard against the ground. Before Nyx could pick a new opponent the dragon she fought earlier barreled in from behind. Teeth gripped the back of her throat as the foe effortlessly threw her to the side. Nyxen felt the breath escape her body as her flank found a wall. Just barely she managed to catch her breath as she slithered to four feet. Her own talons gripped the ground as her enemy charged towards her for another attack.

Dakota jumped forward to assist Lady with the new weight. With that burden his previous injury screamed in pain but he pushed past that. Thankfully the moonlight made the flight easier. His sight took on the chaos of the attack, his ears pinned. "Where can I help?" His words were murmured as he went through battle tactics in his mind. All these techniques involved teams which was difficult because he didn't know a soldier here. He shook his head focusing his thoughts as they neared the castle.

The panther huffed, flattening his ears against his dark skull. He flew up into the sky, wanting to do something. he didn't want to be a sitting duck- and maybe the royals had some food he could snatch later if he was taken to the castle.

Lady looked up, hearing a distant roar coming from the castle, she looked at Dakota. "That sounds like Deimos" she whispered; her words almost swallowed by the silence coming after. she stood back up, "i know a back entrance" she said, "we will need to walk the rest of the way" she sent a silent prayer to Seth, hoping the back way wouldn't be guarded.
