So, I just want to see if I understand this right. If I were to king Megatron; my g2 Witch and then decide I want his base but not his line for studding reasons; I could just pay the gb to retire him and essentially get a G1 Witch as a king with rolled stats if I choose โ€œkeep your kingโ€™s appearanceโ€ right?

(If this is right I wonโ€™t lie; Iโ€™m kinda tempted to do this now ๐Ÿ˜‚)

You need a G1 heir to heritage replace, and he will loose any mutation king has when you change him! You cannot choose Reroll, it will delete his entire looks regardless of what you choose.

You choose a G1 heir and Keep old king's looks, then it will be a new king with no heritage and looks of your former king. Mutation will NOT stay however; it is tied to the heir.

Iโ€™m still kinda confused. So โ€œkeep your kingโ€™s appearanceโ€ doesnโ€™t wipe the pedigree line?

It just keeps his markings, base, etc. The heritage of your king will be replaced with the next heir's, which is dependant on the lion you choose as a your heritage rep. To get a heritageless king with the Witch appearance you want, you need a male groupie from the May event (though plenty of players are selling them)

Heritage is tied to the heir; if heir has heritage, king will have that heritage, if heir has no heritage, the king will then be heritegeless!

The order of heritage replacing is the following:

1) You king your Witch heir, choosing Keep the appearance of Heir - so your king becomes Witch based.
2) You then king a heritageless lion, but choose Keep of the appearance of the Current king - so the new king gets the heritage of the heir, which is none, but keeps old king's Witch base.

So you need to king 2 lions, one after another. You'd need to pay the fees for each.

Oooh! Ok so itโ€™s not that it creates a whole other lion like refill does but rather that you have to choose a groupie. Ok so I was semi-right.
