That is very true, but I feel like in that case it would be a much bigger risk to the user to do that and much easier to reprimand than an average user would be. Since users aren't really allowed to say "I'm a mod and you should do this" on their personal accounts, a RL designer would have the same expectations. And if not met, you're done.

What if there's no ability to backtrack your submission? You submit and that's it. Not even a notification on your end. Anyone can make a design in wardrobe, screenshot it, and show it off. But unless there's site proof it's yours folks take the claim with a grain of salt. Like how you can screenshot a message from a unpleasant person and modbox it for proof. That kind of site proof. A screenshot straight from wardrobe wouldn't be strong enough proof. Sorry I'm trying to describe my idea the best I can. Lol

@LunarKnight - you'd end up with discords specifically created for people to screenshot their submissions/markings and for people to track - especially if you want it on a submission page like for the wardrobe contests.

Not everyone bothers reporting - if I reported everything that comes into my inbox for example there'd be very few lioden players left. And reports can take 4-5 days to action from what I've seen lately.

From the RL creator? What about big RL collectors that have 50+ friends? I remember getting a leopon someone really wanted, but because I wouldn't sell to them they and about 30 of their friends kept making junk offers just to annoy me.

I personally have no qualms about blocking that many people if they're just going to bother me, haha. Unless the site has a maximum number of blocked players (which is doubtful lol) they're not making my choice hard :P

I'm not opposed to the idea in theory but I don't trust many people on Lioden as far as I can throw them, or really any site for that matter. I think the drama potential is too much and the proposals to circumvent that so far sound like a hassle. :(

I think I prefer the idea of volunteers, or perhaps vetted "guest designers?" Like closed species have guest artists sometimes. I love Katze's designs, but like people have said, she's only one person with so many ideas at once, and it must be tough pumping out designs. I think she's pretttttyy all right at hitting multiple groups of people, but I imagine she'd appreciate breather weeks.

I mean, either way, the drama wouldn't affect me too much because I'm not shy with my block button, but the idea of it is worrisome.

I actually dont think there will be as much drama with anonymous submissions as there was with named/forum post submissions.

The thing about Lioden designs is that none are ever truly unique. They are all consisted of publically available markings and bases/eyes/skins. There is a limited amount of them and if something looks pretty - you can be certain there are other people who also come up with this combination and found it pretty. You CANT claim a combination of traits as "your design", even if you picked the markings in Wardrobe and liked them, its still all publically available, there's a high chance someone else also comes up with same design and likes it. Even a raffle lioness designs dont "belong" to the winners - another user can at any time breed the same looking lion, and RMA markings can be used to obtain a slot even if raffle lioness owner never sells cubs.

With forum submissions, the users pulled the "I have a proof I come up with it, here's post" - that was the primary issue. They thought that having their name on a post with design entitles them to ownership over it. But its not true for any lions on Lioden at all (again, any user at any time can try and breed the same looking lion, and they have all rights to do it) AND, with anonymous submissions - there will be no name associated with the design whatsoever, so the claim to be the "maker" of the design will be void. I think this should discourage people from trying, because they wont have the false feeling of "owning" the design by having their name next to it.
