mawce rushed into the building swiftly and silently taking out any soldiers within reach. blood was staining his fur but he didnt stop til they were all dead. he was using dead bodies as shields as well

zuri ran in after mawce, same for zero, they split up,
zuri went down a hallway, taking down enemies along the way
and zero followed mawce, taking out enemies as well

mawce kept going on with his massacre not paying attention to zero. he did protect him sometimes when he really seemed like he needed it but mostly paid attention to himself. they eventually cleared out the part of the base they had been assigned to before going back to find and help some others. mawce didn't realize but in his blood-hungry haze he beelined to zuri to make sure he was safe

zuri kept looking around, not paying attention too well when he was shot in the thigh by an enemy soldier, as soon as he got shot he dove around a corner and hid, reloading his pistol, blood seeping through his gear, cursing under his breath as he shot at the enemy

zero had no idea that zuri had been shot and was just doing his job

mawce watch zuri get shot and all of a sudden he saw red, he felt nothing but anger, couldnt even recognize the pain shooting up his back as bloody wings broke through the scar tissue on his back. all he knew was his zuri was shot, must kill all. he blacked out, not knowing what was going on or who he was killing, when he finally came back to he could finally realized, something is wrong with his back. he turns to look at zuri to make sure he is okay. mawce took one last look at his body all covered in blood before he passed out

zero saw everything and ran to go grab zuri, running off with him in his arms, "what the fuck was that?" zero asked

"i have no idea" zuri said

"okay then...you stay here, i'm gonna go grab him" zero said, setting zuri down in a literal closet so he could hide, before running to go get mawce, he saw mawce and slapped him to wake up
