Tez stands, surprised by the visitor. He was so focused on digging for various gems he didn't fully understand the situatuon at first. He shook his head to recover from the confusion. The lioness in front of him was truly a work of art. Her silky mane swaying in the savannah wind, dawn eyes sparkling in the sun.

Lost in thought the stunned king finally registers the look of worry on her face, mixed with perhaps a bit of anger? "Right, sorry! Don't worry I'm on it!" The king exclaims, feeling the need to impress such a lioness. He bounds towards the tree which hides the rascal. The young female cowers in the branches, expecting to be reprimanded. But with her appearance reminding of dusk it's tough to hide in green.

Tez smiles and speaks in a friendly tone. "Hello! Apri right?" The teen peeks out and nods. "How's the weather up there?" Tez just can't help himself. He learns that Apri is hiding to avoid hunting practice with her mom, she remids him of plenty young rascals he and his pride raised. "Tell you what Apri, if you come down you and your mom are welcome to join our hunting training! It would be more fun with more company no?" he pauses "That is if your mom agrees of course!" Apri stands and gives a look to her mom Sike, who nods. "One last thing!" Apri shouts. " I- I can't get down..." The adolescent bows her head. Tez happily gives her a helping hand, teaching her how to climb down on her own.

He brings the pair to his cave, a hunting party is just forming and Apri seems to be getting on swimmingly with the other teens. Spotting a smile on Sikes face Tez sees an opportunity. "You know, my huntressess have tons of experience, maybe you could use a break? I would love to show you around if you'd let me." He asks with a kind expression. Sucess! Seems that the responsible approach made a good impression.
