Thought it'd be good to track progress here and see what everyone else's odds are. As of posting, these are my stats: 996/1000 steps taken in explore. 1/20 more tracks found. 3/10 unique scratch marks found. 2/10 unique scent marks found. 3/3 meal leftovers found. 2/2 odd roaring echoes heard. Edit: finally finished this quest having used 41 Energy Boosts (82GB). Also used two Roasted Lambs, and all daily free energy boosts (marrow, 100% covid boost, enclave energy). I did not apply hyena butter and did not use coffee beans. I am excited and scared and nauseous to see what tomorrow brings.  6 players like this post! Like? Here's my stats so far; no energy boosts, just 3 roasted lambs, 1 level up and the free daily boosts. No hyena butter or bone marrow used, no enclave energy, event is turned off. Making good progress! 1000/1000 steps taken in explore. 5/20 more tracks found. 2/10 unique scratch marks found. 4/10 unique scent marks found. 3/3 meal leftovers found. 2/2 odd roaring echoes heard. Update 7/3/24: Aaandd I'm finished with this part! In total I used 5 roasted lambs and 3 level-ups (thanks July event)! 3 players like this post! This is where I am now and ugh, the encounter rates feels absolutely abyssmal. Even with the July Event turned off. This is ridiculous.
