joining! fun fact: i forget what place it is, i think iceland, but theres a place that uses clams to insure their water quality! If the clams close that means the water isnt safe for drinking and theyre wired up so that when they shut the water supply gets shut off! its real neat in my opinion! if im remembering correctly theyve found the clams are more acurate than any man-made systems! and a second fun fact bc i just remembered it: kiwi birds lay eggs that are about half big as they are! thats a huge egg to lay! 0 players like this post! Joining from the clan message! My interesting fact is, the peacock mantis shrimp has 16 cones in its eyes allowing for a full 12 color spectrum! We as humans only have 3 red, blue, and yellow! Dogs have two, yellow and blue. I think it’s really neat a little grumpy cousin of the crab can see more color than humans can! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

joining!! teehee saw it in clan message YIPEE here’s my fun fact; [please ignore its dog related, i have autism and dog shows are my special interest lol] sennenhund is the name for the four breeds originating from the swiss alps! the breeds include- greater swiss mountain dog, appenzeller sennenhund, entlebucher mountain dog, and the more commonly known bernese mountain dog! the appenzeller is the only breed of the four ‘hunds to still be awaiting for group classification and currently reside in the foundation stock service!! (i show bernese mountain dogs myself, so truthfully i love any ‘hund but berners are definitely my favorite! they’re the best)  1 player likes this post! Like? |

The largest living organism on the planet is a single honey mushroom (Armillaria ostoyae) in the Malheur National Forest, Oregon, USA. It’s around 3.5 miles (5.6 km ) wide, occupies an area of 965 hectares (2,385 acres), and is at least 2,400 years old. But could be much older. Joining! Fun fact: Kiwi eggs are six-times as big as normal for a bird of its size. Before giving birth, the Kiwi is no longer even able to eat because the egg makes it impossible.
