Let’s face it. Whack a Snake sucks. There’s not a single redeeming quality of the game. It’s slow, tedious, eats up valuable time, and gate keeps good items. There is not a single point in that game where fun is happening. It’s boring, angers me easily, and is stupidly hard. It either needs to be completely erased and the items made attainable from other facets of Lioden or it needs to be replaced with an easier, less time consuming, and most importantly FUN game. Anyone else just as exhausted from Whack a Snake? Why must we endure torture for some quality items? Edit: This is an opinion not a philosophy. I see this comment used in way too many games for all sorts of contexts but without fail, every time it’s a comment made towards someone’s opinion about a game and is not a solution nor a opinion. Disclaimer: This threads’ purpose is to propose the extreme in an attempt to bring to light more plausible solutions to a very real problem. I understand the devs will not realistically remove Whack a Snake. I will not be changing my opinion on this as I’m not here to appease the masses, I’m here to get the masses opinion. |

Why do you want it removed? Why not suggest something else to add to the games? Whack-a-snake is very hard, but it's one of the OG games from the first years LD started and it's very nostalgic to us older players, I myself have been here for 9 years. I don't play it often due to my wrist problems, but I don't mind it. And yes, the items are hard to get for the score tiers, but they also help the market by being desirable and in good pricing. The market has been in very fast decline for the past four or so years, so anything keeping even a little bit of value is imo desirable, even from a game price tiers. And the joy you get when you do get something so good you worked hard for? The best. So no, no support. ETA: Maybe suggestion for in-between price tiers to add more tier levels to get prices for lower scores to keep playing hype up? Oh and we waited for literal years, many many years, for this game to come back, so no, I can't in anyway support removing it lmao.  6 players like this post! whack a snake was a fan favorite before it was removed because of flash discontinuing. i for one love it and am happy to see it back and want it to stay. i think the points required to win rewards could be lowered due to just how long it takes to get to that level, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with the game and i don't see why it should be replaced. 7 players like this post! Why am I going to sit here for legitimate HOURS just tapping a snake and a monkey for older players nostalgia? Keep it as a mini game if ya like but it shouldn’t bar items from people that don’t have time to just waste on a “maybe I’ll get something good”. The actual pain in my hands is not worth two seconds of gratification, especially when the game is only being kept around for people that don’t even play it anymore. I’ve been practicing and trying so damn hard and yet I still make a mistake every 100 taps so I can’t even get a prize from that game. It’s purely a waste of time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

i think instead of making suggestions due to your own frustration, i would suggest make suggestions that would actually benefit the players. ie: lowering the points on certain prize pools. the items are expensive because they were essentially extinct for awhile and a lot of players don't play the game often to that level to have said items drop. It keeps those items more valuable, and in return gives players a reason to play the game. 9 players like this post! Like? |

fun is subjective, i find the game fun and im sure other people do too. lowering the threshold ensures everyone is still happy and gaining more rewards, instead of getting rid of a game that people like. i dont play trivia, pin the prey, or reptile roundup because i dont find it fun. should we get rid of those games too? especially the exclusive decor that roundup has for higher levels because i can't personally score that much? 4 players like this post! @mewflakes honestly, yeah a few of the other mini games could use some major work too. The trivia is fine, the answers are all on the wiki anyways. Pin the prey is okay, it’s still hard but the threshold for prize winning is more reasonable, I can at least win things on that even if it’s less enjoyable. Reptile round up also sucks, I don’t play that one either as it’s just as hard as Whack a snake. Reptile roundup could be replaced with something better too. It’s super laggy and doesn’t follow the direction queues correctly. I at least have some fun with those games though. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. The game is fine and fun for me, and for many other users too - just because you are not good at it, doesnt mean everyone should loose a game and get a replacement instead. Play other games that you're good at, and trade prizes with other users to get things from a game that you're not good at. I for one, SUCK big time at Pin The Prey. Cannot for my life's sake get above 3000, the cursed equine always finds a way to sneak out! BUT that's a beauty of there being other games - I take prizes from other games, like dove feasts, and trade for stuff I want from it.  That's how it works, and I, for one, enjoy there being some items that take a challange to obtain. Cheaper items feel less special. There are HUNDREDS of cheaper items, let at least some remain pricey. 8 players like this post! Like? |

I keep seeing the price reasoning being used and honestly, it could still be pricey and attainable from another avenue. There’s plenty of pricey rare items that are still a lovely challenge to attain and yet are still more reasonable than whack a snake. Maybe they could keep whack a snake with some cheap prizes for the older players so they can get their fix while making a new mini game so others can still enjoy the gameplay as well as have reasonable challenges to conquer. 0 players like this post! You can already conquer this challange - through other games. Several decors from Shuffle cost high - Swartberg Mountains for instance cost 20 GB right now, many items from Roundup go for 10GB+ as well. Play other games, gather up your prizes, trade them - and buy your desired prize from Whack a Snake from other users. Im sorry to repeat myself but - if you're not good at something, then do other things. Lioden offers a widest variety of places to get stuff from. Events provide a ton of GB - you can trade your event items for it, currently Buffalo Scrotums go for 10+ GB - a couple of them will get you a Tropical Nightlife. In September, GMO cows and Ochre Gnawrocks will easily get you any background you want from any game. Gorilla Enclave is a year-round shop that both has many items for sale AND applicators you can also trade for other items, all it takes is finding right cubs to give in and over time, you will save up. But games are meant to be a challange and prizes keep their price because not everyone is able to win them. If games were made easier so that everyone can easily score big - all game prizes will immediately drop into being worth nothing. Plus there cant be a "please everyone" solution, because everyone's view on fun and hard is different. For me, Pin the Prey is impossibly hard and terribly frustrating, but Whack a Snake is fine, long but its pretty relaxing for me, click and click until you reach the score.
