Valokissa are a type of Felidae that leave a trail of light wherever they go. Rays of sunlight, the Northern and Southern Borealis, are all products of these felines frolicking across the sky.

Valokissa are lightly based on the mythical creature tulikettu from Finnish folklore. However, they're based on the stories I heard when I was younger rather than those commonly found online.

All cat lineart bases are available in both zones; the only differences in the zones are the palettes. You are guaranteed one valokissa each time you explore. Pelt rarity, mutation rate, etc, are the same throughout the explore-zones. Explore-zones are not linked to actual time, they're just a way to split up color palettes; you can explore either at any time.

Maybe you'll pick an extra item or two up while you're exploring, for this shop or maybe another...
