Epaulette sharks can survive over an hour on land! They use their fins to crawl over the corals exposed after the receding wave, since the joints in their fins are soft, unlike in other sharks ^^

'Fun' fact; cheetahs are all inbred. Really, really inbred. It is believed they experienced a genetic bottleneck from nearly going extinct 10-12,000 years ago. Possibly leaving as few as 7 individuals alive at that time.

Fun fact: Sappho was the only surviving recorded instance of a woman in Ancient Greece performing pederasty, where usually a man would take a young boy at the request of his parents so he could learn how to perform the duties of a man. This was the opposite for Sappho where she taught a school for girls to teach them how to perform their "womanly duties", she would sometimes take her favourite students under her wing and that is strangely enough the reason for most of her surviving poetry.
