Leopard geckos can live to be 20+ years old in captivity with proper care and only around 10 or so in the wild due to predators, food shortage, competition, and other health reasons. The oldest leo I've ever heard of was at least 30yrs old and was a class pet for elementary kids.

new fact! did you know that "chameleons change colour to blend in to their environment" is a myth? while they do change colour, it is not for camouflage! they change colour in tune with their emotions and to communicate with other chameleons. the animals that actually do change colour for camouflage are octopus and cuttlefish!

My second fact. The reason that mint tastes "fresh" is because it contains a chemical that triggers the cold receptors in your mouth. Making you feel cold when you actually aren't. The same is true for "spicy" chemicals that trigger heat receptors.

Hiiii again!!!! This is request number 2 I would looove your g1 jag!!!!!!!!!!. My fact today is that Tokay geckos are called tokay geckos because they make a "tookay" sound! One of the qualities that separates geckos from lizards is the fact that many geckos are able to vocalize!
