Fun fact: In the 1940's a farmer was preparing a chicken for dinner, and cut off it's head to kill it. But he missed the artery, so the chicken stayed alive. The farmer fed it by shoving seed down it's open esophagus. It lives for 18 months after being beheaded, and only died because the farmer accidentally drowned it by pouring water down it's windpipes.
