Fun fact: The T.rex likely had feathers. Scientists in China discovered Early Cretaceous period tyrannosaur skeletons that were covered in feathers. If the ancestors of the T. rex had feathers, the T. rex probably did, too.

Fun Bug Fact: Caterpillars use hydraulically powered structures known as prolegs to walk. Most are called abdominal prolegs, but the furthest back pair are called the anal prolegs. Meaning that caterpillars in a sense walk around on their butts.

(Bonus fact: My sister who doesn't play LD is helping me pick out suitably obscure facts, and thus gets naming priveleges if I happen to win. Past times I've given her naming priveleges I've ended up with the names Glonkert, Stromboblemew, and Krimfel. I fear what she'll come up with.)

My fun fact for the day is that many animals have phallus bones! It's called a baculum or os penis and in dogs, the distal end (furthest from the origin) is the location where they are most likely to get a bladder stone stuck in their urethra!
