Also, they apparently can remember everything about their life being a caterpillar even though their whole body turned into liquid!

Horses have 360° vision, but due to the positioning they have two blind spots, one directly behind them and one direction in front of their face. This means they actually can't see things like fences when they're actually about to jump over them in competitions, they only see them when they're a bit far away and rely on memory (and their riders) to know when to jump. Low-key scary!

My fun fact is that the crocodile lizard is the only remaining specimen from both it's genus and family, which date back more than 100 million years. They prefer flight over fight response and will often escape to water by using their powerful tail to propel themselves rapidly away from threats.

Fun, or not so fun, fact for today is that Australians have the highest rates of skin cancer in the world! There are many factors as to why, but some are that they are closer to the equator and have clearer skies, and that many Australians are fair skinned, which means they are more susceptible to skin cancer due to their continuous clear skies. 95% of skin cancer in Australia is due to being exposed to UV radiation, which is what the sun gives off. So if you live in Australia, make sure to wear sun screen and protective clothing!
