Fun fact: Wolves don’t have “alphas” or “omegas” in the way they have been shown in media. The original creator of the idea that wolves had that kind of social structure only studied wolves in captivity.

Those wolves in captivity weren’t related, thus when they were put together formed a pack based on strength.

In the wild wolf packs are made up of the main two wolves, and their children. Usually, wolves will stay with their parents until they are about 2-3 years old helping them rise their next litters.

When he realized his mistake the creator of the “alpha” and “omega” idea tried to take it back releasing (I think it was a book or it may have been an essay) another book about their real social structure.

Fun fact: The Parasaurolophus is the only dinosaur we have the most accurate reconstructed sound of! A paleontologist made a tube to replicate the dinosaurs way of communication and now we have it! (It’s also my favorite dinosaur)

Did you know that there is a tech in Team Fortress 2 called 'Yeti Cancelling', where you can emote (taunt) to turn into a yeti and immediately cancel the animation upon taking damage. This has no real impact on gameplay except terrifying your opponents by rocket jumping towards them at mach speeds and flashing them with the raw visage of a yeti!

did you know that the sky is only blue during the day because the sun's rays of light shine though the water partials in the air which causes it to have a blue appearance? the same thing happens at night, only it is a much darker blue because the light from the sun has to reflect off of the moon!
