2. The chances of being attacked by a shark are roughly 1/5 million, the same as being attacked by a kangaroo
3. Horseshoe crabs are the perfect species, they’ve remained unevolved for roughly 400 million years!
4. Alligator’s genders in the egg change based on the temperature they are incubated in
5. Alligators are incredibly fast, and can climb trees. running in a zig zag is actually proven to not help, since they move in a ‘serpent-like’ style.
6. Manatees are actually not mild. there have been reports of people being flung by manatees.

Fun facts!!

There is such thing as an Immortal Jellyfish!! This jellyfish is known to practically rise from their own ashes! After one dies, the cells begin to regenerate themselves! This keeping the Jellyfish alive and well. This is know as the Turritopsis dohrnii or “Immortal Jellyfish” (does that first name seem familiar?? Maybe check the oasis ;))
