We don't know how the finances get split with this game.. unless they discuss it somewhere? I guarantee the artists are on a salary or hourly wage and aren't the ones directly being effected by the price difference

If you know where to look, their finances are pretty public. It's not at all hard to find.

But seriously, you're wigging out over them charging 50 cents more, whilst saving you money on mane decors (look at the cost of some of the event mane decors).

It's not about what the artists get paid, it's the fact that the site is charging 50c more to probably compensate for the new artists they picked up as per the news post. They have to be paid a wage whilst they work on further decors for Spirited.

I mean, its a development topic. I can share my opinions if I wish.

The devs have to pay the artists somehow, and so the price increase is justified. You can easily find the accounts your self, but even if I shared them you likely wouldn't know how to read them; I can due to extensive accountancy experience (7+ years in British accountancy firm, the same country lioden is based).

@TheClassCalico (#88888) i think you actually have a really good point there.. manes are either CD or from very particular events and are very expensive.. plus with so many artists working on the team now I actually believe they may just be adjusting for inflation or something similar.

Okay let me just get this straight because I have no idea how this turned into a payment discussion

We shouldn't care it's an extra gb, because there are tons of females and a lot of poses. There are limited males as per only having 1-digit territory space for subs regularly and a king. There is only one pose for males. It is special. We're getting manes too within the pose, which isn't even the point.

About lab frogs, why are we still having a discussion?
Lab Test Frog: Changes your lion to *only* LOOK like the opposite gender.
If its applied to a male, it will look female and be able to have female poses on. Vice versa, if applied to a female, she will look male and be able to have the spirited pose on.

Meaning submales, kings, and lab frogged females are all able to have the spirited pose.

The spirited pose is special and the only one for males, I don't see why we need to talk about it being just 1 gb more than female poses which have like 6.

The only reason it turned into a payment discussion is because I mentioned a whopping 50 cent/1gb increase
for a pose that took them many years to develop, and has the thousands of image files, that they've had to hire more artists specifically for.

you're completely right though, female poses are cheaper because there's 6 of them, and so more choice.
also, spirited should remain 2gb because its our only male pose, saving you gb on a lab test frog + decor cost for posing your king as a female (minimum 3GB+decor).
