So, there are many Sim games out there that offer premium and basic accounts and I think adding premium upgrades would be an awesome addition to lioden. Typically, premium accounts (at least on the sim games I've played) run from $15 for a six-month to $25-30 for a year. Listed below are some things privileges that could be added to premium accounts that basic accounts wouldn't have. Suggestons for privilages1. A weekly allowance of a couple GB 2. A feed-all, interact-all, for as long as your premium runs. 3. Allowing more than 5 lioness to hunt 4. Earning a couple extra stats for a successful hunt. 5. Earning a little more impression/EXP for each battle win. 6. Finding special items while exploring, items specific to only premium users. 7. More/special items in the Oasis I don't know, it was just an idea. I know I'd most likely upgrade if they added premium accounts. Anyway, I'd be happy to take suggestions and critique. EDIT Players pay for GB already and 50 GB is $25 which would equate to (IF this got approved, depending on how much a six-month premium would be) a little more than 2 GB weekly allowance. I've worked out the math. There are 24 weeks in a six-month period, give or take a week. If you got two GB each week, you would have 48 GB at the end of that six months. If they charge $25 for a six-month premium, you'd be getting 2 GB less than if you bought the 50 GB outright. It would prompt players to upgrade because, for a little bit more money, they'll be getting the GB they were originally going to purchase anyway, IN ADDITION TO the perks of being a premium user. The only downside would be having to wait a week to get your next GB allowance. |

Sorry, but I don't really like this idea... I think players are able to buy enough in the game with real life money - with this, people who have enough money to upgrade to a premium account would basically have super lions/lionesses without having to put as much work into the actual game itself. It's like buying your way to success; you probably wouldn't even feel as accomplished as you would if you put hard work into it. This would also make it extremely hard, if not impossible for a newer player, with little real life money to spend on the game, to get their lion's stats even half as high as the premium account users. It's already hard enough to sell cubs in this game, why would you make super stat cubs easier to produce? I just don't see this benefiting the game. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like this idea. It could definitely use tweaking to work. Like, instead of a GB allowance, maybe an SB allowance instead. While the math is sound, and the idea is good, since they did pay so much to get the premium, the premium is one way to increase income for the site instead of make it an "instead of buying GB option". Like, instead of buying that fifty GB you buy the premium and wait for the GB to accumulate. And you get the perks along with it. So, it's kinda taking away from buying the GB separately since you could essentially get it by buying premium, even though you get two less GB. I support this idea in general, with an SB allowance instead of a GB allowance. I would buy a premium membership on here, definitely. I really don't want to see it become a "pay to play" type deal, but I think it could be balanced to make it pretty awesome while still allowing free play to not be greatly disadvantaged. 0 players like this post! Definitely no GB allowance, that's far too much. Premium accounts on all sites give special perks but they don't give you back what you've paid - and I mean literally. LioDen would LOSE money if they did that, it'd be 100% idiocy if they did add a GB allowance. A premium choice would be nice for those that want to support the game more than just playing, an extra income for LioDen, & just to have a better game play. I only agree with 2, 3, & 6. Although I do like Bynks SB allowance. But HEY, I'm quitting after I get my commissions so it doesn't matter much to me, lol. 0 players like this post! Like? |

NO WAY! If premium accounts get introduced it would ruin the game for many users, like me. Plus, there are already enough real-life-money items, and isn't having a customised lion basically the "Premium" membership of this game? i.e. Players with customised males get GB from studding etc. No support please. 0 players like this post! I agree with erein and wake. I do not support at all. I like that all players are even, it's just all of us as a community. When you add premium then it become "premium" and "regular" users. It becomes like a separate class, and right now we are all sort of a family. And then people who couldn't afford premium would be frantically trying to buy those items, and then they would go for a ridiculous amount. 0 players like this post! Like? |
