I support in theory but in practice I don't think people really read profiles that often. At least, not beyond the main lion's stats/den members and so on. I don't think a gender option, while nice, would work to effectively stop people misgendering others.

I'm not sure. What would stop two people having a conversation from asking each other? It shouldn't be embarrassing, because there would literally be no reason for you to know anything about that person, name age gender, anything.. so what's the harm in asking? However, I understand how it could be hard if you have anxieties, also. The one issue I could see with it is there are a lot of people who are genderfluid or don't identify with either. So, having only the two options of 'male' or 'female' would be limiting. I suppose as long as it isn't mandatory, it would be alright.

Support, for genderfluid, genderqueer and agender people this would make a great option.
A pronouns box would also be cool, but that's another thing all together.

I support. From what I've noticed, some people are very 'touchy' about the gender subject, and get upset if it's gotten wrong. I've never checked dens before, because it's commonly known that most don't HAVE their gender up there. I feel like this would prompt me (and possibly others) to check more often, to avoid upsetting players.

Only support if there are more than "male" and "female" options. I'm Genderfluid, and like Toli said, this could be a great option if more than two genders are listed. :)
