I think there should be a box in your profile where you can type in what your gender is. That would ease confusion and misgendering, and the awkwardness of asking "so what's your gender" for people like me who have social anxiety. EDIT: It would not be mandatory! |

By stating no support I am not supporting it though? As we don't have a 'no support' button, the only way to gauge who doesn't support is to post it. It also allows users to provide feedback as to the reasons why. As I said, I'm not against the idea of it, but I don't think it's a feature that's necessary because, in a way, it's already implemented. Gender really doesn't affect gameplay, as I mentioned it's not even a question that's asked upon sign up or anything, and it's not posted anywhere on a users den, unlike a lot of other sites. What you proposed is a 'It would just be a text box where you can type your gender.' which is something we, essentially, already have.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Just as a heads up, if you open a suggestion topic you are agreeing to take all the opinions that come with it. Whether they support it or not. Honestly, I'd rather have someone tell me why they are against it than just have them type No Support because then I don't know what I can do to improve the suggestion/ideas. 0 players like this post! Agreed Durbe. There have people who have used the feedback from why their suggestion was not supported to alter their original idea. Once altered, sometimes this encouraged those who originally did not support to be in support of the "tweaked" idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. It's just a pointless add on that would be more of a pain for the coders. If using the right pronouns is such a big deal to someone they can put it on their profile. There's nothing stopping you from putting it in your profile already that you identify as ________, or just putting it in your profile. People tend to ignore profiles as is anyways, what's going to stop them from just skipping all of the player's information and going straight to lions like everyone does? It's unnecessary when you have a customizable HTML den layout to put all that information is already; this is like saying "Hey, you can put whatever you'd like on your den page" but you still feel the need to have people have a little box that says "This player is/identifies as ______."?? It makes no sense, just another feature that is easily remedied by typing a few lines into your den page. 0 players like this post! Like? |
