No support- only because the way the game is set up you're not playing as yourself- you're playing as your lion. Your gender isn't an important part of that profile.

Trans is simply being the opposite gender, if you are trans, you are that gender. Adding this wouldn't really make a difference for trans, maybe for the other non-binaries.

EDIT: If any trans people are offended, I apologize, I was not trying to be rude or anything. I'm just telling it from my point of view, if I were a trans person, I would not want to specify that I was trans.

No support. There is no need to know anyone's gender on here. If it was that important to them, they can make a separate note on their dens, but it really has no bearing on the game itself.

(Besides, can you imagine the headache for the admins to make sure they had every single option? What was wrong with being either a guy or a girl -_-)

@Speck: that may be true but again, it's optional, not mandatory. the mods would only have to add a box for gender, not individual gender options.

You aren't asked what your gender when you sign up and there's no place that it's listed on their den. If people are particular about their gender or their preferred pronouns, they can (and do, as I've seen quite a few people with such information in their dens) put it in their den description.

I just don't see a need for a feature that is basically already available.

No support when the simplest solution is just to ask the person.

This is an internet based game, so it's fairly easy for a person to claim to be male, female, gender fluid, androgynous, etc without any real problems.

I know social anxiety can be overwhelming at times, but an environment like this is perhaps one of the least stressful in which to inquire about a person's gender and have a good excuse to do so (only have text to go by).

I agree with Wreckuiem. It doesn't really seem all necessary to add to the game, because it's plenty easy and plenty simple to just add it to your profile.

Not really that big of a deal if you were to leave the gender option blank and let the person type in their preference.

Nothing wrong with being a guy or a girl, and most of the non-binary genders do not have a problem with those who identify as male or female.

Many do not support the idea of including a gender option mainly because you can customize your den anyway and include this tidbit of information if you want.

Learning to get along with non-binary genders is easy in an environment like Lioden where we rarely ask about a person's gender or really have much need to know. We're normally more interested in their personality and trying to get along in the game.
