Shifting SpiritsNot a Shifter yet? Join here before posting on this thread!A warm mist surrounds your body, masking the scents of the forest. You feel cold, despite the beaming morning sun. Suddenly, a crackle of leaves sounds behind you and you whirl around to see a...... a tribe of humans staring expectantly at you. "Welcome to the Forest of Shifting Spirits." The voice seems to be all around you as if the whole forest is speaking but yet it just comes from one of the humans before you. "You are one of us. Your spirit longs to be one of the Others. An animal lives deep inside of you and it urges to be set free." All you can do is stare in bewilderment as the humans in front of you start to change. A voice speaks in your mind, "We are one." This time however, the voice seems oddly familiar yet you've never heard it before. With a shudder you realise that this is what they were talking about. Your spirit is more that you ever imagined. (Original Rp idea by RainWatcher (#40211)  This is the Star Stones. Where the Shifters gather to share their newfound spells, talk or just hang out. The way to get here is by following the Lake Path to its end and you will come across the Star Stones. This is where all "Tribe" meetings are held.  The Lake Path where most Shifters often like to swim. This is the main route to the Star Stones and the Forest Village where the Shifters live. There are many different types of fish living in this lake and some Shifters even like to hunt in their animals forms in the lake.  These are the houses in which the Shifters live, commonly referred to as the "Forest Village." Each Shifter lives in their own house but more often Trainee Shifters will live with their Teachers. All the houses are connected by rope bridges and there are stairs and ladders leading up to each of them. Rules:~No perfect characters, godmodding or power playing. ~Lioden Rules apply. ~Please keep swearing to a minimum. ~3+ sentences. Please be literate. If you don't speak fluent english please don't join. ~Do not kill, seriously injure or hurt another character without their owners permission. ~Feel free to cause drama but don't do it all the time. ~Every Shifter studies an element of magic but the White Magic Shifters specialise in lots of different types of magic and shifting. (Your shifter must know some sort of magic but doesn't have to ever have any involvement in it if that is what you wish.) ~Only past tense writing please. 1st Person or 3rd person are ok. ~Check to see what animals are already taken. Only one type of a certain animal. No double ups! ~Fade to black only if mating, birthing is ok. ~Be nice to everyone! ~Shifters have only ONE animal form so choose wisely. You can't change it! ~Put your favourite number in Other if you've read the rules. ~Trainee Shifters are Shifters that have not yet discovered their animal form. Once they can shift as they please they will move to their own house and begin to study magic. ~When Posting please put at least "Name|Gender|Species|Rank." It just makes it easier to follow. You may add more detail if you wish. (Any more suggestions? Feel free to say them!) Crevan replied before taking Arya's hand and tugging her towards the door,"I don't have anything else to do this afternoon, after your house, we could go train at the Star Stones." Though he was having trouble with finding his magic, the Star Stones were always peaceful and he could focus his mind. Watching the usually younger trainees practice and develop gave Crevan hope that he could be a powerful shifter. But maybe inside he knew that his inner animal didn't fully trust what he would do once enabled with power and form, he tried to shake that thought out of his mind,"Or we could meditate." 0 players like this post! Glacia Mari .:. Female .:. Full Shifter .:. White Tiger.:. 19 After bathing a while in the Lake at the Lake Path, Glacia returned to the shore and turned towards the lake concentrating on the surface. She wasnt in the mood to ruin her paws while walking the sandy path and wanted to try her power again. After a short while the lake's surface froze and the lake was covered with ice. Amazed about the obvious fact that she managed to only freeze the surface and not everything around her, Glacia walked onto the ice heading towards the Star Stones. Arya II White Magic Trainee II Female II Snow Bengal>>Crevan "Sure, lets go!" I did always felt more powerful in such a simple environment. It was also peaceful which helped with just about everything. I turn around slightly as a woman frantically looks for her missing wallet in her purse. I looked up back at Crevan, "Lets go now!" My eyes widen slightly, trying not to pull attention to me. I went at a steady fast walk till out of sight of the Magic Shop. "I have plenty of Earth scrolls for you or even a few speed ones with you wish to try it a go." Star Stones was a perfect place to try all types of magic since it did have perfect ground to try. Something else was there though, it almost felt like the place was giving it's magic to you, like mending the two together. After coming to the village I see Hikaru. "Hey! Wanna come with me and Crevan to Stare Stones? We are gonna practice our magic." I smile at him with my gentle eyes, non-pressuring as I hate the feeling. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No one had ever offered to pay for her before"Oh alright. Thank you." She watched as Ryan bounced away and headed out the door, only for another human to enter store. Her smile vanished at the thought of another person until the man made it clear he was Ryan. "Let's eat in here. Less people." Leigha said and head to a table in the corner of the store, sitting in the chair farthest from the shop door. Mason ran through all the restraunts in his head while the walked down a path to town. Soon enough, the buildings came into view, followed by the aroma of many different foods. "It i such a disgrace to anyone who has never eaten in this shop." He smiled, setting the half of his doughnut down to chew. "You know, we should do this more often." Although the song was a rather deeper vocalizing attempt and a more harsh singing use, she sang it rather beautifully in acoustic form as she imaged herself on a stage singing her own songs and the crowd cheering her own as she breathed heavily into the mic with the pair of lungs that loved to let her express her feelings. Once her song came into a ending, her mind drifted off into a lucky day of watching waterlife do their normal day routine until the night time to where she could swim by herself freely in her birthday suit. With a heavy huff, she would heave her legs over her bedside and gather up a black vans backpack that had red and white handwriting and scribbles all over it. Quickly, her feet would skit across the room, collecting three black towels, sunscreen and her makeup supplies that included makeup remover wipes. As her fingers slip over to the zipper and zip it close, she would dash over to her shoe wrack that held about three pairs of shoes, she would grab a pair of sandals and stuff them into her bag while removing her pajamas to put on her black swimsuit that had a few bleach spots from her fail attempt at making it a tie dye bikini and her black knee-high dress to cover herself up while she walked over to the lake and back. Once her sleeping clothes were put into her dirty basket, she would slip on her pair of black timberlands as she flung her door open and slid down the hall towards the quickest exit, which through the rope bridges towards the stairs then the ladders that waited so eagerly for her to jump down them. As she ran, her timberlands would stomp rather loudly as she hoped to not wake up any other resident as she dashed towards the lake trail and quickly ended up by a secluded lake shore. Luxian would take in deep breaths as she took in the lake's smell and removed her dress and shoes while putting them into her old backpack and hiding them in a nearby bush. [I know, this is rather crappy because I felt like I typed too much at the end cx Sorry, but I hope I didn't do anything wrong by how I explained the shifter's houses cx] 0 players like this post! She sighed and waited, wondering if it was worth it to wait for them. It was clear that Vic liked Leigha more, and his brother obviously didn't like her. 'If they don't get here soon, I might leave.' She thought, looking down at her feet. She brushed some hair out of her eyes with her hand. She'd probably give the $100 dollars back to Vic, she could get money on her own.
