Halfblooded~ Some human's were just born this way, others were forced, some were accepted. These human's aren't completely human. They are part animal. The animal they turn into is their INNER ANIMAL. Some human's are part bird, part bear, part wolf, part horse. These 'humans' are shape-shifters. Not everyone started like that, though. Some people are trialed to be one, some people steal a serum that makes them halfblooded. Some people are forced to take the serum. But they all have one thing in common. They were all sick. It all started when mad scientist Dr. Corvelis mixed up blood and a toxin. He gave the toxin to a patient with cancer and the next morning, she was fine. They thought it was a break through, so they gave it to as many people that could afford this pricey drug. What they didn't know, was that the toxin changes the person into an animal. They start to blend with a certain animals' thoughts, they get their senses. Sometimes, they turn into the animal and never return. Over years, a school has been formed to tame these beasts inside of people. The school is called "The Academy" by the students. The original name has been lost in time. Halfblooded people from all over the world come here to unlock their beast side and tame it. After you school here, you should be able to become your inner animal whenever you choose to. You get the animal's senses, looks, and thoughts. You can be a student, a teacher, someone going through the process, or a thief. If your parents were Half&Human, you most likely didn't find your ability until late teens(15+) If parents were Half&Half, you probably first turned when you were between 5-10. If you took the serum, you turned a few days later. There are rules, but not too hard to follow. 1- Follow Lioden Rules 2-On the top of every post put Name-Gender-Animal, except with your names. (Ex- Miley-32-Cat) 3- 3+ sentences please. 4- If rules are not followed you get a strike 3 total strikes. 5-In other, type Following Footsteps so I know you read the rules. 6- If you do not respond in four days, you get a PM asking if you are still in. If you don't respond in a WEEK and have not INFORMED me of it, you get a strike. If you do not respond in TWO WEEKS you are kicked out. 7- You must tell me if you are dropping/won't be able to reply for a certain number of days. 8- 3 characters MAX 9- Keep cursing to the minimum. 10-Try to stay updated with this thread, I may add new rules, new people may join, and stuff of the sorts. Doka~Female~Expert~Black Cat Doka rolled her eyes and groaned. looks like it's just you and me, X said to Doka. Yep, lining life to the fullest, Doka replied. She got a snicker out of the cat. Doka stuck her head through one of the shoulder straps of the bag and started dragging it. It wasn't that heavy. It had her spare set of clothes and the clothes she wore that day. Her and X have carried more in a days work. Diamonds, pelts, none of that. Doka made it to her dorm in good time. She didn't notice anything different about the beds, but she fell onto hers, in cat form, and slept, curled up in a ball. Her mind was alert for any tries of X trying to get out. She doesn't often, but sometimes she does. Doka really didn't want to wake up naked in someone's room. X likes to cuddle with people... Mentions~ No one Actions~ Sleeping Other~ CLASSES TODAY!!!! Sid - Male - Patagonian Mara Sid woke up, feeling much better than he had the rest of the week. He took a shower, blowdried his hair, and threw on a white button-up shirt and a pair of jeans rolled up at the bottom. He pulled on his vans, threw on his necklace, and he was out the door. He walked down the stairs, and into the cafe. He had a fruit cup and yogurt, making sure to completely avoid the section of the cafe serving bacon and sausage. Then he made his way down the hallway and to his classroom. Sitting down in his chair, he thought, It's nice to be back. Alec - Male - Blakiston's Fish Owl Alec woke up slowly, sleep still wanting to suck him in. He forced himself to get up out of the comfort of his soft bed. He made his bed, then made his way to the bathroom. He took a long shower, then got dressed. After he got dressed, he made his way down the stairs, still half asleep. He sat in the cafe, just staring at his un-filled plate. He wasn't hungry, he was just so tired. So tired he thought he might sleep all class. Bea - Female - Moon Bear Bea woke up early. She spend most of the morning reading her book on Moon Bears. Finally, it was time for her to get ready for class. She took a quick shower and dried her hair, spiking it up more than it usually is. She threw on a blue and white floral dress, a black jacket, and some sneakers. She went downstairs into the cafe, and ate some oatmeal. I must've fallen asleep last night... A low groan rumbled in his throat as he slowly sat up, using his arms as supports. Planting his feet onto the ground, he dug in his dressers' drawers, grabbing some clothes, and marched groggily towards the bathroom to begin his morning routine. Dakota took a shower, taking a bit of time to enjoy the luxurious experience of warm water running over his body, scrubbed his hair dry, and brushed his teeth until all there was left of the paste was a foamy mess. Spitting the foam out of his mouth, he proceeded to dry the rest of his body and then pull on his clothes. He had decided to dress in a light blue plaid, white shirt, and light-wash jeans. To top it off, he pulled on his light grey beanie and put on his glasses, his eyes sore from wearing contacts too much. Dakota figured that if he was asked why, he would just pass it off as 'oh, I forgot them today', or something along those lines. He put on his amulet, grabbed his phone and his set of keys to the dorm before leaving it. Her beady black eyes blinked. There needs to be a murder. A murder? She squawked at the thought, but then remembered what she had learned after her first shift. A murder was a group of ravens, like a herd of cows or a pack of wolves. Fish had schools, ravens had murders. Still, she felt lonely. So do I. That voice... sounded strange. Rory hummed to herself, taking in Josh's appearance; she could sense he was a type of feline. Adam put a lid on Rory for a moment, smiling softly up at Josh. "Sure, I don't mind. We're roommates after all, couldn't be too bad to eat at the same table." He joked, moving to chomp through the cheeseburger he got. It took a lot of calories to keep up with his exercise schedule when he was out of class. She went over to her desk to see a pencil holder, a few stray papers, and a class list. She looked around the classroom, taking in all of the desks. She opened the door leading outside. Doka~Female~Expert~Black Cat Doka woke up in her bed, in human form. Sometime during the night, she must have shifted. She was naked under the covers of her bed. She walked to the bathroom and took a warm shower, feeling the wated hit her body and soak her long, thick hair. When she got out, she changed into This Outfit, feeling the snugness of it all. She decided to leave her back pack empty today, but she did bring it. As she walked out, she put the sunglasses into her bag, and walked to the Cafe. She picked up a fruit bowl, and finished it standing. She picked up a water bottle and walked to Mackenzie's room. She noticed that no one was there yet. See I told ya you could just sit down. [Oh shut up Loki]. Ever since Josh had come to the academy, and started to train, Loki had begun to talk more and more. At times it was annoying, but at the same time it was pretty cool and awesome. Looking up at Adam, he nodded at his question. "Loki, my inner animal or friend or whatever you would call him, talks to me mentally. He's quite annoying, but he's alright.", he said, feeling a mental huff coming from Loki. Apparently annoying wasn't what he wanted to be called. "Does your inner animal talk to you mentally?", he then asked in return. He hadn't really spoken a whole lot to Adam, even if they were roommates. Whenever he got back from classes, he was either sleeping or thinking about how to get the defects to stop. It was annoying, to always have something that didn't work. Once he shifted and he had been looking with his own eyes, not Loki's. When he shifted back he had Loki's tail and eyes. It wasn't really the most funny thing. The thing he had kept this time, he hadn't shifted for some time now, was Loki's canines. Only those, the rest of his teeth were normal, but the fangs, the canines, were there. Loki seemed to like it, as if it was funny to him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kaileh~Teachr~Female~Swan Kaileh looked at Bea. "The point of this school is to teach you how to control your animal." Kaileh said. Bea was beginning to get on Kaileh's nerves. She had a specific way of teaching, in which is not to fast or slow. She didn't let any of her annoyance portray in her voice, or expression. "You could just control your animal mentally, by never shifting, just keeping him or her at bay. Or you could shift and come to an agreement. One animal gets their free time, and so does the other." She explained. "My point is that you need a steady mind in order to even begin your shift. You can't go into it just to go into it. You have to know your intentions, and know that your inner animal won't go awry." He clumsily walked to the cafe and picked up whatever he could find. He collapsed at a table and started stuffing his mouth with the food. Arya || Female || Student || Bengal Tiger She woke up groggily, blinking; it felt like a sack of potatoes were tied to each of her eyelids. And her neck hurt. She moved to sit up a little, and only then realized she was in the café- she almost let her head fall down on the table again. She had actually managed to fall asleep in the café, while talking to Synthi even. How could she be so dumb? As she looked around herself, she saw anotehr student -Conner, right?- eating to his heart's -or rather mouth's- content. He seemed to be so focused on his food that he hadn't noticed her, which could be nothing but some high power somewhere showing her some mercy. Her fingers got stuck in her hair as she drew them through it in a vain attempt to tame it; naturally, it pretended it was part of a knotting competition. She let her arms drop to her sides and fought a hopeless groan; she needed to get up to her room, and she needed to get some breakfast, and she needed to get to class. First things first... since she could only see Conner in the café, she figured it wouldn't harm her reputation too much if she sat here a couple of minutes looking like a mess; Conner didn't seem like the guy to make fun of everyone in sight.
