Jarisol-Beta-SSP It hadn't been what he was looking for, but it couldn't be helped. He watched the wolf. She couldn't have had a very high rank, but he could be wrong. Definitely not beta, at least. "I had gathered that." He said, with a quirk of his lips. Mentions-Emiko Other-Sorry for short... I don't have anything else to post about. >. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fallen Shadow Fallen Shadow woke up from his vivid dream. "The long standing omega will rise in power." The voice from his dream echoed still in his mind. He left the healer's den and saw Snowy. She had been the omega for as long as he could remember. Could Snowy really win a challenge? He wondered. She's been an omega for so long... "Oh, but she will. Like you, she will fight her way to become a loyal member of the pack." Well, anything is possible. He thought. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Emiko/female/lead warrior Emiko left her head hanging down with her ears flattened "Sorry....." She said quietly. It was true, she didn't know anything else about the gathering of the two packs, but she did know that Makeera's mate, Kaito was killed. She didn't want to say that to the male because he might've known also and that would just make her look worse. And the fact that she's new to the pack she doesn't really know what has been happening lately, But she knows that she's trying her best at being a lead warrior and at knowing the events that her pack had been through. 0 players like this post! Jarisol-Beta-SSP Jarisol nudged the wolf. "I'm Jarisol." He said in a friendly tone. He didn't want to make enemies on his first outing. He sat straighter, his tail wrapped around his front paws. He quickly glanced around his surrounding, glancing at all the wolves. The seemed to be wrapped up in their own conversations. He looked back at the wolf in front of him, looking for a mood change. Emiko/female/lead warrior Emiko blushed once more and was surprised when the male nudged her but she calmed a bit when he introduced himself. "I-I'm Emiko, but you can call me Emi" she said with a shy but frantic voice with her blush still slightly visible from her face though she smiled brightly. 0 players like this post! Like? Jarisol-Beta-SSP Jarisol slightly smiled. Emiko. She had said. A nice, short name. Innocent. Whenever Jarisol thought of his name, it always seemed a bit sinister to him. A name with a reputation... He trailed in his own thoughts, loosing himself. It hadn't been the first time he had wondered and thought about this, and it most definitely wouldn't be the last. Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 4mnths | Beta Female Offering another gentle whine, the pale female curled her form about the pup's smaller one, taking care not to jostle him. Ears pressing to her skull, she awkwardly glanced around the den -- willing no wolf to look her way, to set their curious eyes upon her and the pup who now cuddled against her fur. It was a frightening thing, to press her body against this pup she barely knew, allowing their scents to slowly mingle. As experienced as she was, Iah had never borne pups, nor even had a mate to match her soul. So who has she to claim this pup as her own? She knew nothing about him -- only that he was alone, and scared... but what more did she need to know? Someone had to take care of him... and though there was surely some wolf better suited to this than her, she couldn't fathom giving up the responsibility to another. Even then, however, she knew that she knew nothing... she had interacted with pups, sure, and showed a tender side that she showed no other, but that did not merit here with the knowledge to protect and care for such a small tuft of fur. Maybe it would be better if... someone other than myself... With an exasperated chuff, the female coated Calyx's ears with a few frantic licks before settling down once more, sending a quick glare around the cavern. Yes, someone else. But who? Ears perking, she lifted her head, swinging her gaze around as Kashi and Serkarhi trod into the den, coated in blood. Instinctively, she growled -- but quickly hushed herself, allowing her bristling pelt and flattened ears to be their only warning. Even then, she resented her reaction -- the two wolves did not deserve her hostility, especially since they were of lower rank. As beta, it was her duty as same as Makeera's to look out for them -- not inflict injuries herself. But it was if something had possessed her -- something hot and uncomfortable, an unknown defensiveness clawing into her chest and throat. A calm wolf by nature, such feelings confused her and, nonplussed, she forced her head to the floor once more, dragging her flashing gray gaze away from those it would glower upon. Rahese | Male | 5yrs 7mnths | Lead Warrior Wrought by anxiety, the brute twitched and stirred as Nova looked him over, expressing a growl toward Makeera as she pleaded that he be rational. I am hardly going to die he thought with a scoff, even as he turned bulging eyes upon the healer, the whites prominent against the dark line that rimmed his golden gaze. His sister's voice offered no comfort, her pleading underlined with the command of an alpha. Muzzle wrinkling, he forced his gaze away, choosing to glower instead at the bane of his existence -- Nova, stopping only to utter a quiet repetition of the alpha's words. Baring his canines, he remained still as she gazed at his wound, only the wax and wane of his breath and the quaver along his body betraying the life still within him. Flinching at her yip, a quiet whine wheezed from his throat as she promised him the pain he so wanted to avoid. "What's he doing?" the male snapped as the magpie came closer, startling Rahese as its beady eyes met his own. The temptation to lash out was near overwhelming as the bird approached, his figure strangely menacing as the feathered beast angled its gaze toward his wound, carefully examining it with an unnerving intelligence. He refused the desire, however, as difficult as that was -- and instantly found himself regretting it, yelping as the devilish thing jabbed its beak into his side. Recoiling, the brute spat out an aggressive snarl, tooth-laden jaws lunging toward the bird -- and missing, the magpie's quick movements saving him from grievous harm. Frustration rose within him, and he then turned that anger upon Nova -- but swiftly stopped himself, his eyes instantly locking upon the injury he had already given her. With a hateful glare toward her feathered companion, he resentfully acknowledged the help he had offered as his eyes happened to sketch across the dropped claw. Still, you should consider yourself lucky, he thought, huffing quietly to himself. Gaze sliding away from Ro, he watched as the starry female spread honey and some strange plant along his wound, shifting nervously as she did so. She could be poisoning him, for all he knew, though somewhere deep he knew that the little healer would never do such a thing... Since when? it suddenly occurred to him, the thought snapping suddenly as he became consciously aware of what he had just been thinking. Since when had he decided to trust Nova and her mysterious plants? I haven't! he corrected, but the underlying feeling still remained, contradicting his forceful decision with relative ease. Shaking his head, his muzzle crept closer to his side, and he gave the substance a curious sniff -- and hastily sneezed at the odour, nose quickly retreating. He hated honey, and the scent that came from the plant made the smell no better. So I can't lick it off later? he questioned bitterly, eyes narrowing to irritated slits. Head retreating as Nova applied moss, she confirmed his thoughts, her intention to protect the substance covering the wound obvious. His train of thought quickly derailed, however, as she spoke to him. "No patrolling?" he protested, incredulous at such an instruction. He was lead warrior, and now that he was patched up, she was telling him that he couldn't do his duties even now. Lip curling, a growl kicked in -- but he quickly quieted himself, a better idea coming to mind. Fighting with her would be no use -- she would refuse him in an instant, and probably attempt to restrict his movement around the territory, making use of her authority as a wolf of higher rank. Staying quiet was a much wiser choice -- and sneaking out to patrol later on would be a far more reasonable feat. So, sticking with a silent glower, he huffed -- admitting defeat. Pick your battles. Attention diverted by the arrival of Kashi and Serkahri, the brute instantly rolled his eyes. It was obvious that they were arriving from their most recent battle. There had been so much turmoil in the lower ranks of late -- the younger wolves seeming determined to tear each other apart. And these two were the most troublesome of all. By the disappointment in his eyes, it was clear that the omega was, once again, an omega -- unfortunate for him, considering that he had a mate and two pups to care for. Such was life, however, and the weak simply did not make it. If the male was truly determined, he could care for his family, omega or not -- it wasn't an impossible feat, even as the lowest ranking wolf in the pack, and once he realized that, the future would seem a lot brighter. Startled by such insightful thoughts, Rahese was all the more startled as warm fur brushed against his own -- Nova, he quickly realized as she moved toward her new patients. Thrown into a turmoil of confusion, he abruptly rose to his paws, looking after her with utter bewilderment resting within his gaze. Oddly enough, there was embarrassment there, as well -- a feeling he pressed out of his presence as soon as he recognized it, replaced with an even higher level of confusion. Is she teasing me? he questioned, before giving his entire body a harsh shake. Surely not -- he had just been in the way. Definitely. It would be best to shove the entire moment from his mind, and he did so, though the emotions that it had elicited remained, hovering in the back of his mind like an annoying gnat. Locking his gaze upon the two new arrivals, Rahese moved toward them, making sure to brush against Nova as he did so -- almost as payback, though he quickly ignored his subconscious actions in favour of... well, just about anything else. Reaching the two ahead of the healer, he moved uncomfortably close before taking a seat, gazing at the two of them with his vibrant eyes. Intimidation almost rolled from his form, his eyes narrowing upon Kashi. "You are the winner of a challenge, I assume?" he began, eyes roving dismissively across the male before returning to her. Nodding kindly, he took at look at the pale she-wolfs wounds -- seeming to express interest in her side in particular, where her ribs had been broken. Apparently satisfied that she was fine, his gaze then turned to meet her eyes. "Congratulations. I'm sure Kiba would be devastated if his sister had fallen into the omega position -- he is a strong wolf, and as are you. Such a place wouldn't have suited you." Having spoken his piece, he rose to his paws, offering a departing nod to everyone except for Serkahri. Padding to the entrance of the den, he took a pause -- before he glanced at Nova over his shoulder. "If you think I'm not going to patrol on your orders, you're a foolish wolf indeed," he quipped, breaking his vow of silence in favour of frustrating the annoying female. With that, he exited the healer's den, dark form fading into the light that bloomed at the entrance. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 01/11/15 @ 20:33:08 by Piper [SC][MP] (#21479) |

Makeera, Madjaster, and Serkahri: Makeera led the wolves into her pack territory. I will give you a tour around the camp, and we can all eat near the food pile. After, I will let your omega face his punishments at the challenging arena. Is that okay?" she asked Daphne. Madjaster let out a whine again. 'What punishments?" he growled. "You'll see. And don't you growl at me." she snarled back at Madjaster. Makeera walked back into the healer's den. She had heard Rahese's complaints. "And if you think i'm going to let you patrol in your state of injury, then you yourself are a foolish wolf. It pains em to say it, older brother." she half ordered, half snarled. She then turned to Nova. "Nova, please do help Rahese near the food pile, we are having the feast now. I request that you assist Serkahri, Kashi, and Angel too." she asked. Then, she came over to iah Cehka. "Ah, you have had a pup? Most delightful, I have never known you had a mate! Your pup is adorable, what is his name?" she gushed, awed at the two of them. "I can help myself and my mate. Come, Angel." Serkahri said, and helped his mate get up, taking care not to hurt Belle or Angel while doing so. He then led her to the food pile, where the other wolves were. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Calyx | 2 Months | Male pup Calyx whimpered as he experienced a horrible dream, his silver striped blue gray paws moving as he floated through the hazy landscape. In the dream his father and some other pack members who believed he was a weakling found him and brought him back to the pack to try and prove his strength. Why had he...the runt of the litter been the only to survive of the alpha’s litter? Why had his sisters and brothers died even though they were considerably more healthy and well fed then he? Would he survive the test of strength all the wolves had to experience when they came of age or joined the pack? He was doing well at the test until, suddenly, the prey he was determined to catch split into three hazy forms of young wolves...his siblings. Suddenly his father was standing in front of him huge and proud. “Only the strong survive, Runt.” And then the shadowy forms of the alpha and his dead offspring attacked...their was so much pain. Then...blackness and the most horrible part was that subconsciously Calyx knew that if his father found that he lived then that dream would at least come true in part. If it was any other pup the logical Alpha would probably let fate decide...but for some reason Calyx did not yet understand, whatever confrontation that existed between him and his father...was very personal. Nova | 5 Years, 8 Months | Female Healer | Falling Embers Nova stiffened when Rahese brushed against her as she had him just a few seconds before. His actions surprised and confused her, she had not expected the return of affection and did not know what to think about it. Hearing Makeera’s order Nova quickly inspected the two challengers moving with her trademark speed, she helped clean the two wolves wounds applying the basic healing agents. None of the wounds acquired during the fight seemed to be serious though Kashi’s seemed to be bleeding quite a lot until the healer applied the honey and moss pad. “If either of you notice your wounds giving you more problems come to me immediately.” Nova said rechecking both of their wounds before letting them find their way to the feast on their own. Padding ahead of them Nova entered the clearing leaving Kashi some parting advice on her pinkening fur..”I advise you to soak in the hot waters of the basin during the night to get rid of that unusual color...unless you had rather keep it.”Nova said, the usually light note in her eyes gone at the recently odd behavior of the talented huntress. Looking around Nova immediately spotted the wolves of the other pack...there was something about them...that seemed...familiar, particularly the feeling that surrounded the striking silver male. No matter how she tried though, Nova could not quite remember what that meant. Moving into the shadows of a den near the new pack though not too close and using her power of light and dark, the stars on her pelt sparkling as they darkened the area around her to stay relatively unnoticeable Nova returned to her previously disturbing thoughts and actions that seemed to revolve around Rahese. Nova had to admit to herself that she knew what was going on...she had felt similar feelings for her mate before he had acquired his power and subsequently his thirst for power. She had almost forgotten those days before his power when he had been a light hearted and goofy wolf, so different from Rahese. It seemed impossible that she felt similar feelings for both wolves past and present. I have never been a wolf to back down from something I fear...at least not before I try and beat it. I have been ignoring my attraction to that annoying wolf out of fear of what could possibly happen will emulate my past and destroy my future. This was so much more simple when I could simply tease and annoy the wolf to no end without any side effects.Coming to a sudden decision, Nova looked at Rahese where he stood. determination in her mysterious blue eyes along with a sudden challenge. She would pursue the wolf instead of trying to deny her feelings, the chances of something lasting and nice coming out of this decision was low...after all we are both so hard headed...but the chance was still there. It was that chance that so scared Nova and it was that chance that made her decide to act on her feelings. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male Against his better judgement Rajat did not vent his anger before meeting this new pack. So when he met Makeera he was woefully unprepared by her strangely rushed behavior and her comment about his beauty then her speedy declaration of a punishment for Madjaster, who she called an omega. Before he could let loose a growl she was once again heading off in another direction, presumably to the healer’s den of the pack. Rajat let out a low growl...the nerve of the small wolf. The ice spikes that covered her back raised her in power in the large wolf’s estimation, but she would be no match for Daphne who had such a powerful power nor would she match up to Rainar who had more experience in the art of fighting. But their was another variable to add when it came to females and that was pure wit...Rajat had yet to see how Makeera would rank in that department. The time Makeera was gone was perhaps a blessing for his anger cooled rapidly in the face of his logical and controlling mind. During the packs migration the members had come to blatantly dislike him and that would not do. He had mended some of the wounds he had caused during the harsh travel, but something else would be required of him as an alpha. These were HIS pack members and his job was to make them as powerful and as strong as he could and to protect them from things they could not defend from, as he is the strongest of his pack. Unfortunately they tended to get opinionated and he had to give some, to get some as he forgotten ever since the incident that had happened that had made the wolf and as a result his pack, leave the accursed territory. When Makeera again entered the clearing Rajat stepped up to her watching her with intelligent lavender eyes. “Alpha, I must inform you that I do not appreciate the presumption that you will punish my pack member who is, in fact, a lead warrior. I understand you are racked with anger and sadness about what has occurred but it is not your place to punish one of my pack. I fear that this is partly my fault for I ordered Madjaster to prove he was worthy to stay in the pack since he went against pack laws and attacked me in an apparent challenge. I would have accepted a dangerous prey animal he had taken down in a battle or hunt, but he did not think of his actions in his hunt for power. He killed your mate and I admit that he should be punished...but you have already-without my permission-given him horrible wounds. I do not believe he would survive the Gaddergar and I am unsure if he will live with his wounds now, even with Daphne’s help. I will permit the Ragnaid as long as he get your healers attention immediately after. As for the Gaddergar I will take on his punishment as repentance for the death of your mate and from then on let there be no more mention of the topic.” Rajat’s eyes raked over the younger wolf’s eyes severely before meeting the eyes of the other wolves within his pack and the other pack. His eye lingering on his own pack for awhile...perhaps this action would prove his ultimate goal as leader of the pack and would inspire the loyalty he had once owned. His eyes again landed on Makeera’s, was she knowledgeable enough to know that if she refused the replacement of himself in his lead warrior’s place that she would be disrespecting his status as leader of another pack? 0 players like this post! Jarisol-Beta-SSP Jarisol Looked up as the two alpha's conversed, or to be more exact, as the Fallen Embers alpha rudely rushed into each new topic. He saw anger grow on Rajat's face, and suppressed a snarl himself. Know your place... He thought to himself. If the SSP pack were to be attacked, they would make it out on top. They don't have a very large number, but their sheer strangth and powers would be too much for the other pack to even comprehend. Poison... Illusion... Shadows... Just to name a few. So, Madijester killed their alpha? That was the blood I smelled earlier... Mentions-Rajat, Daphne, Makeera, Madijester, SSP pack in general. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Makeera and Tundra: Makeera then walked out of the healer's den to join her guests. "Well, Rjat... perhaps after the gaddergar and rhagniad? Nova will have to give consent too, however. He is a lead warrior? I thought he was an omega because of how cowardly he is, espesially attacking a wolf who had done no wrong to him whatsoever. I myself would prefer if he had chosen some prey animal too." she replied to the large alpha solemly. "Is everyone here?" she then asked, jumping from topic to topic, as usual. She knew it was annoying how she kept bouncing around different topics, but it was an old, hard habit to break, and it seemed near impossible by now, even though she was only 3 years and 2 months old. "You can pick out from the food pile what you'd like to eat, and we can discuss the things that need to be discussed, such as the upcoming winter, and from the looks of our weather now, will be very hard. I propose a peace treaty for that time, to work together, share information and food, and basically help each other any way we can. We do not have to merge, I only request we work together." Makeera added in, and chose the bull moose that had been killed earlier. She was willing to share, of course, because even the hungriest wolf ever would not be able to eat a whole moose in one sitting. Makeera then dug hungrily into the carcass, waiting for other wolves to join in. Tundra moved a little closer to Rajat, pressing against the large male's fur. "What's a gaddergar and a rhagniad?" he asked him, looking up into his violet eyes. This was a lot of information to process for a small pup like himself. 0 players like this post! Like? Cybele || Delta Female || Cybele had made her way to the healer's den interest clouding her sense of judgement she merely followed her alpha her crimson eyes eyeing the Male she disinterented in the whole situation, she was merely a wandering sould going where she pleased. Silently she made her made to side slightly to the side and behind her alpha lowering her ear's slightly to show her submission in the prescense of her Alpha female who she respect and would kill if she was told to, Cybele was a mindless soldier for her Alpha to use and she didn't complain. She lowered her body towards the ground laying her frame down while her head was held up as she scanned the Male he was quite a beauty indead but she wouldn't admit that to the stranger her eye's lingered on him for a bit before she turned her gaze to her Alpha. "Is everything alright Alpha?" She asked her voice smooth and the words rolling off her tounge she had slight accent but it barely showed at times. It was obvious that the savage female was a pup for her Alpha she had her loyalty no questions asked her tail wrapped around her hind paws as she awaited her Alpha's reply. 0 players like this post! Rainar|Female|Beta|Setting Suns| she nearly fell over in shock when her Alpha volunteered to be part of the punishment. She just couldn't believe it, she was astounded and amazed that he cared that much about the dignity of Majastar. She felt a newfound respect and love for her Alpha bloom in her. She was always loyal to him, but this just cemented it more. She also felt very bad for majaster. she looked at the new female wolf that had appeared, Cybele. She had an accent that she couldn't place, and the way she held herself made Rainar curiously suspicious. She held her self like a warrior. She held her self like she held herself. She would have to be careful of this wolf. or maybe they would become friends and they would take down their enemies together. A dynamic duo. She pushed that thought away, even though she would like to have a friend that would have her back, she knew that it would be unlikely. She didn't want to get her hopes up. so she settled for standing strait and looking as menacing as possible, she now knew that she had a worthy opponent, she would let Cybele know. 0 players like this post! C y b e l e || D e l t a F e m a l e || The chilly air had told the Female that fall had descended upon them. The chilly air rushed into the cave, swiftly and quietly like an eager shadow it swooshed past the wolves causing a sneeze to escape her nose her head slightly shaking to get rid of the odd buzzing sensation it left in it's steed. Her eyes were bored blood was not being shed despite her demeanor the talk of bloodshed made her excited she resisted the urge to kept her tail from wagging at the thought she had to keep a level head, her eyes made her intimidating and the cold air around her added to the effect. Her attention wandered to the wolves who occupied the cave. She could smell the scent of those who were of her own pack and the stench the stranger's emitted they were new and foreign to her nose and the new scent's made her want to growl, at them and bare her fangs that hid beneath her maw. Eventually her eyes rested on the Female known as Rainar she noted her as the Beta her posture and air around her made Cybele curious she eyed her openly as she gave her a once over she looked promising and in battle she would have many advantages, but Cybele didn't think friendship would further progress. Although that doesn't mean an alliance with the female wouldn't benefit Cybele. 0 players like this post! Like? |
