Rainar|female|Beta|Setting Suns Rainar stood, she was done eating now, and she couldn't help snarling at the weak, pathetic alpha female. She went to stand beside Jarisol, like his she was absolutely done with the way she was treating her pack member. That was Rajats job, to put him in his place not this pathetic Alpha female. She stood beside Jarisol snarling at the fallen female, daring her to come at them, two against one. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Madjaster and Makeera: "THANK you, jarisol." Madjaster huffed, and trying to wriggle from the alpha's surprisingly strong grip. "I know, but that changes nothing. The only consequence of this is having this mate killer hate me, although I'm assuming he already does." Makeera snapped, not bothering to even loosen her grip. "Apparently if a wolf kills someone's mate, they're golden. But if a wolf tries to put the wolf that had killed someone's mate in their place, they're the bad guy. I bet food spawns wherever Madjaster walks!" she added in, with even more aggression and sarcasm than before. Maybe she was unstable, but wasn't everyone in this situation? 0 players like this post! Jarisol-Beta-SSP "Shut up," Jarisol snarled at the wolf on the ground. "And you, too. Go around spewing things about your mate being dead. Have you mourned him, even?" Jarisol asked. "Or do you only look for pity and revenge?" He asked. He couldn't care less about what happened to either wolf, but the scene was ugly. He didn't care what happened next. (I really want to introduce something for the wolves to be superstisious about, like maybe elemental wolves, kinda like wolf gods. Read WOTB (Wolves of the Beyond) so I was thinking about introducing something like Skaarsgaard. Yay or nay? I'll control one, and have a contest which 3 other people in the roleplay get to be one as well, which they're picked with a random number generator, and they'll count as a 6th character.) Makeera//Female//Alpha//3 yrs 2 months//FEP "Yes, in fact I have. I have even buried him and gnawed his name on a bone to mark his grave. Who do you think you are, one of the elemental wolves?" Makeera snarled at Jarisol. the only way she was going to get off of Madjaster was when she felt it was enough. Plus the two punishments, of course. "I know I may be unstable, but aren't all of us at the time? i mean, look at this mess! I meant this to be a peaceful dinner where we could get to know each other, but I guess we can't have peace without violence." she said to nobody in particular. This was the first time she was starting to doubt herself as being a good alpha. Frankly, she wouldn't be surprised if she was challenged for her rank. Enraged, yes, but shocked, no. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male Rajat watched as the two wolf packs quickly became angered, then violent. The alpha watched as the alpha female of the Falling Embers Pack did not move to stop the budding fight...in fact she seemed to be the one to start it, by attacking Madjaster after the lead fighter made a smart remark, something a alpha could not afford to react to because of the delicate situation between the wolf packs. Makeera had just put her pack members in danger by reacting to Madjasters rather childish show of independence, that signified to the Alpha male of Setting Sun’s pack that she was insecure with her leadership and was not as powerful as she pretended to be...he really hated working with weeklings, but there were potentially dangerous wolves within this pack and he could not afford to have any more potentially dangerous wounds created in a fight especially since he did not have a healer wolf within his pack. Lifting his head to the sky he howled a loud, rolling growl like howl of anger that would send prey animals running for many miles. “SILENCE, the wolf rumbled lacing some of his mesmeric power within his voice knowing it would have a lessened effect on the older wolves, but would most likely make any of the younger wolves at least pause if not stop speaking altogether. Pausing, the alpha male took a minute to get a hold of his anger taking a deep breath of his mate's scent knowing that it seemed to calm him whenever he got into these towering rages. His eyes still snapping with barely controlled anger the wolf managed to get out a few words between clenched teeth. “You are acting like a small pup who got picked on, Alpha. I understand you are racked by grief by the loss of your mate, but you must conduct yourself like an alpha...which means getting off MY wolf, for you are putting your pack in danger by instigating violence.” The male’s eyes shone with deep violet flames flickering within...this female wolf did not seem to understand that he would allow no harm come to HIS wolves without explicit permission from himself. 0 players like this post! Calyx | 2 Month | Male pup Calyx perked his ears when the black pup seemed to start awake, but was taken completely by surprise when the pup bumped noses with him in her examination. Not knowing how to react especially since this was a female pup Calyx tried to remember why it was so important about the difference between male and female. All the adult males seemed to highly value the adult females for some odd reason. Calyx couldn’t see anything different about this pup except she did not talk much, only discovering he was hungry and pushing him into an adjoining room where she offered him some meat. He didn’t even know her name...then again he had not offered his own. About to tell her his name Calyx was interrupted by her determined declaration of the word mine. Puzzled and wondering if she wanted her food back, Calyx took a step back about to ask her what she meant by the word, but was picked up by an older male wolf who then proceeded to pick up Belle as well. Completely puzzled Calyx didn’t make a noise at all until the male stepped out of the healer's den. Than the world froze for the little pup...they were only a few feet away was his father...sitting in plain sight. In his terror the little pup turned a bright bluish white, an outward indication of his inability to react in his terror and also a superb disguise...at least until someone started examining the scents more closely. To his relief the male brought him to the other side of the food pile out of sight of his father, but Calyx knew his luck would run out unless he figured out a way to return to the den without being notice by the alpha or his pack members. Looking down it was then Calyx once again noticed his odd coloring...the initial puzzlement came and went quickly replaced by the pups ever present curiosity...could he control this power, could it help him? Nova | 5 years, 8 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers Nova watched as the many wolves started to argue among themselves, shaking her head at Daphne the healer looked at the alpha apologetically..”Please excuse me I have to make sure this does not escalate.” Not waiting for an answer Nova walked to the edge of the clearing circling around the group...she had no intention of trying to stop the wolves currently looking as if they were ready to rip each others throats out..maybe if she hadn’t been so exhausted she would have taken that route, but three to four days with only a couple of hours of sleep was not something you could rely on. Nova’s current goal was to make sure Rahese would not try to jump in and “defend” his pack while making his healing wound worse. Looking for Rahese she found him just where she had seen him before...walking up to the wolf and sitting a few feet in front of him, ready to jump up at any sign of movement from him. She set her gaze on the large lead warrior her gaze flicking to meet Bascules for a second before landing once again on the current reason for all of her difficulties at them moment. Her deep blue gaze determined, Nova silently let it be known that she would do anything within her power to make sure that Rahese did not enter the fight. The cold wind shook the trees seeming to hold a wolves echoing howl even as Nova scented the unmistakable scent of rain...at this temperature it would undoubtedly become snow...not a good sign for the future. The female waited for Rahese’s undoubtedly angry reaction to her unspoken declaration. Next post will probably be longer as I address things more in detail...is it bad that this seems like a very short post/ it is bothering me a lot lol 0 players like this post! Like? |

Makeera, Serkahri, and Madjaster: "Yes, get off of Rajat's wolf, pathetic alpha." Madjaster snickered. Makeera's head hung low as she stepped off of the brute. "Your'e right... I let things escalate quickly. It's the anger and sorrow getting the best of me. It's hard keeping a pack in line after your mate's been murdered and you're the only alpha in it. I need time to myself." Makeera explained, stuttering. She ran off to her den, her head in her paws as soon as she got there. What had gotten into her? Attacking a wolf of the other pack when she wanted to make peace? Sometimes she wished that she wasn't an alpha. Life seemed so much easier as an ordinary hunter or warrior. Did her pack really think she was pathetic. She was insecure, with nobody at her side, so it was hard to]be an alpha. "Don't rush. In fact, don't come back." Madjaster mocked as the insecure alpha ran away to what seemed to be her den. Serkahri seemed to notice Calyx being quite afraid. "What's wrong, young one? You look as if you've seen a ghost." he simply said, not knowing why the pup was so scared. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/11/15 @ 19:28:58 by ~Simba the Fluffy Lion~ (Lich) (#27778) |

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 5mnths | Beta Female Iah stirred from her rest as the small pup awoke, requesting food in such a hesitant manner that he almost seemed to believe he didn't deserve it. Shifting slowly to her paws, she was about to accept him -- only to give a start as he scampered down the corridor, deeper into the medicine den. Tipping her head inquisitively, the female merely turned, trailing slowly toward the entrance. Even if he had fled, she could still retrieve a meal for him, and at the same time observe the goings-on of the feast. These new wolves were still quite a mystery to her, considering she had barely set her eyes upon them more than a couple of times. Fur ruffling along her spine, she made to slink outside. At Calyx's howl, the female gave an almost comical reaction, paws nearly leaving the floor as the skin along her entire body flinched in unison. It was more startling than alarming, however -- the sound clearly originating from something that... wasn't quite fear, at least, as far as she could tell. Curious all the same, she put thoughts of the gathering aside for a moment, moving toward the sound's origin. It was faintly unnerving, she realized, treading further and further into the healer's den. Since she rarely found herself injured, the female rarely stepped foot past the entrance. Yet, her she was, creeping back into the bowels of the den in search of a pup that wasn't even hers. With a snort, she shook her head free of such meandering thoughts, finally reaching the point where the little male's scent was the freshest. Poking her muzzle around the entrance to the small cavern, she was quickly met with a more familiar mix of scents -- Angel, and her pups. One of them, anyway, the female quickly acknowledged, noting the stale tinge of one youngling in particular. As she looked, it appeared all but Angel were absent -- including the little black pup, so different from her rambunctious brother. Both her scent and Calyx's were fresh, however, and Iah nodded to herself in confirmation, not knowing exactly what happened, but comforted by the knowledge that the little male was likely safe. Trekking back to the very entrance of the medicine den, she found herself hovering on the cusp, torn between the mix of interest and hostility she felt toward the new pack, and the obligation she felt toward Calyx. Safe or not, she wanted to be close by just in case he tried to find her, but at the same time, she was really meant to be socializing at the feast alongside the alpha female. With a sigh, Cehka eventually allowed herself to stretch within the entryway of the den, partially concealed by the overhang of the cave. It was, in her opinion, the best of both worlds -- allowing her to stay near the pup while still carefully observing the interactions between the two packs, simultaneously monitoring the rival pack's attitude, and watching for any conflict that may stir up in the midst of all the conversation. At least, that had been her intention before she dropped off to sleep, body accidently going lax as she allowed her generally sleepy disposition get ahold of her. It was the cacophony of growls and barks that eventually roused her from her nap, snapping her into an alert state in a matter of moments. Surging to her paws, the beta stalked from the den, eyeing the hostile interaction from a distance as she tried to determine the guilty party. Though defending her alpha was her main prerogative, she knew it would be foolish to look before she leapt. Makeera wasn't perfect -- and if she had initiated the fight, tangled the entire pack in a web of hostility -- it would be even more unwise to barge in and further the complications, sending the packs into an unfortunate battle. Before she could determine it herself, however, a deep howl echoed across the clearing, ruffling the fur along her spine with the sheer amount of power it held. Watching as the silver striped male addressed Makeera in a corrective manner, her fears were acknowledged all the more as the alpha female turned and fled to the safety of her den, tail practically tucked between her legs. I see things are going swimmingly Iah mused, before finally wandering toward the gathering herself. "Greetings," the pale wolf beckoned as she approached, ears tipped regally ahead and eyes turned to silver slits of curiosity. She allowed her eyes to freely roam across the strange wolves as she grew closer, taking in the finer details that she hadn't been able to obtain at a distance. Lavender eyes, she noted, peering boldly into the gaze of the wolf who was now undoubtedly the alpha male. If this isn't Calyx's father, I'd gladly chew off my own foot. Chuffing quietly to herself, she took a seat upon the packed dirt of the clearing, dipping her head to the gathered wolves. "I am Iah Cehka -- beta female of Falling Embers. I apologize for my tardiness -- I was occupied elsewhere. As the alpha female seems to be indisposed, however, I will take her place temporarily to ensure this feast with proceed with no harsh feelings." Sparing a reluctant glance toward the alpha's den, where Makeera no doubt needed to be comforted through the turmoil of losing her mate and humiliating herself before another pack, she quickly returned her gaze to the male, patiently waiting for his introduction. As much as I'd like to be at her side, looking out for the pack is significantly more important right now. she reminded herself. Rahese | Male | 5yrs, 8mnths | Lead Warrior Rahese listened to his father's story with obvious reluctance, one of his ears tilted toward him whilst the other tilted far elsewhere, toward the forest. Tail lashing in the dirt, he unconsciously felt himself warming as the old male spoke of his mother -- a female he hadn't known for very long, but one he missed very much indeed. In fact, she was likely one of the rare wolves he could stand, though her tongue baths and determination to keep him in line were annoying in their own way... at least, he told himself that they were. His eyes clouded with an almost wistful glimmer for a moment -- before the story promptly ended, his annoyance returned, and the fact that it was his father telling old, forgotten tales to prove his point. "You must be dripping your mind out of your ears, old fart. There's no way I'd let Nova treat me like that -- I'm not as weak or susceptible to a female's wiles as you are, so don't be mistaken." Snorting firmly, he turned his gaze away, glaring determinedly into the distance even as Bascule's words rolled repeatedly through his mind, serving to stir up even more annoyance and unwanted feelings. His thoughts were promptly interrupted, however -- for better or worse -- as Makeera attacked one of the rival pack members, pinning him to the floor of the clearing without remorse. Ears perking curiously, he stirred -- was it time to attack? Watching as two wolves ganged up on the small alpha, it quickly became clear that yes, indeed it was. Releasing all of his pent up annoyance in a vicious snarl, Rahese surged to his paws -- though a bit painfully, his wound chastising him for such reckless movements. His attention to this pain, however, was easily drawn away by the swelling hostility, and his tail began to flag dangerously. How dare they question his sister's word, irrational as it was? The male had killed her mate -- and as far as Rahese was concerned, the perpetrator of such a crime should be resigned to the very same fate. Practically frothing at the mouth, the male bunched his muscles, ready to tear his canines through fur and flesh -- it had been far too long since his last fight, and he was ready to rend flesh from bone when it came to these cocky, invasive wolves. What right had they to resent Makeera's actions? This was their territory, their home, and they had strolled in, let one of their wolves murder their very own alpha male, and then expected no consequences for such actions. Well, Rahese would be pleased as a peach to show them what exactly the "consequences" would turn out to be -- if they survived, that is. Preferably, justice would be found in viscous puddles of blood at his paws. Before he could act, however, a sinking dread doused the fire in his chest, the resolute scamper of familiar paw steps tipping his ears back in realization. Slowly, he glanced over -- to see Nova, no less, having immediately predicted his agitation toward the situation. Resentfully, he glowered at her. What did she expect, that he wasn't going to leap to the defense of the pack? That he was going to sit here, watching the packs dissolve into a snarling mess of tooth and claw, just because he had a silly little scratch with a now-getting-really-itchy moss pad over it. Apparently, he noted, ears flattening as she stared at him with her flat gaze, allowing for no misgivings in what would happen if he tried to launch himself into the fight. Furious, he curled his lip at her, eyes flashing bright against his dark fur as he did so. All the same, he found himself somehow frozen beneath her gaze, his muscles twitching under the strain of his tense posture. Damn her he spat internally, and his eyes silently portrayed the message. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/11/15 @ 14:23:24 by Piper [SC][MP] (#21479) |

Camaria//Female//Warrior//2 yrs 4 months//FEP Camaria had tried to stay in the background during the dinner, but this was too much. "Enough!" she barked, and gave a smile of satisfaction as they did indeed stop, although not because of her. Her gaze fell upon Rahese as he arrived at the scene as well. "The other pack is here and the last thing we need is to upset them any more than they already are. Yes, I believe Madjaster shouldn't have murdered Makeera's mate, but she shouldn't have attacked him in front of us either." she simply said, her eyes narrowing. There was a hint of aggression in her voice, as she was quite annoyed about how these wolves were acting. Yes, she was simply a warrior of the Fallen Embers pack, but it didn't matter. "I need to up my rank too... but not right now." she mused to herself, and tore off a leg of the moose that her alpha had been eating before. She went to a vacant spot near the gathering and tore into it hungrily. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Jarisol-Beta-SSP Jarisol let a low warning growl rumble through his chest before stepping back. This whole 'feast' was a disaster. Maybe, if their former alpha was strong, he wouldn't have died by the paws of a hunter. He turned around and walked away slightly. The food there made him sick. 'Peace' was just a fairy tail compared to reality. These wolves needed to understand that fact. He sat down, but he looked no less intimidating. His eyes and silhouette was about the only things you could see of him. Mentions- wolves at the dinner. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ignis Fatuus | Male | 3yrs 2mnths | Loner The russet male trod through the trees, paws crinkling against the fallen leaves scattered about the forest floor. He picked his way lightly, head down and ears bowed against his skull. As he walked, his nose kept careful track of the scents stirred up by his paws, seeking some sort of familiarity. Saffron eyes sketched across the territory before him -- barren of life and movement, except for the occasional wind-stirred leaf. It had been a long, long journey from his home, and now he found himself... very much lost. Chuffing briefly, the young male forced the growing feeling of trepidation from his chest. There was no use in worrying about it now -- he would never find his way back. Still, he no longer wished to be alone... at least not completely. He had travelled mile upon mile, with neither sight nor scent of any nearby wolf packs. The summer had been difficult in itself, but he had managed, sinking his teeth into anything that dare dart across his path, and scavenging from the surrounding hills. He had even given in to nibbling at grass and bushes; the elk did it after all, so there must be some sort of purpose to it, right? It was a nasty set of experiences, but it had kept him alive just long enough to catch his next mouse on some occasions. Now, however, as a chill crept steadily across the earth, the threat of winter drew near. The small game would go to ground, the plants would die -- and as would he, if he couldn't find the support of a wolf pack. Hunting larger prey would become imperative, and taking down a beast of such size would require multiple wolves. But therein lies the problem, the male noted, momentarily drawing to a halt. His head rose to its natural height, and he scanned the forest -- so naked without the trees laden with leaves, and so damned quiet. Ignis had little interest in interacting with his own species -- even in his birth pack, many wolves had displayed their crude and brutish nature, preferring to bite before they barked. And if he found another group of wolves, he didn't doubt that many would be the very same. Being bitten, however, wasn't a risk he could afford -- hovering on the fringe of starvation, an injury would be his death sentence. There was no real choice in the matter, however, where his precarious situation was considered. It was either risk starvation and remain a loner, or attempt to join a pack -- and, if rejected or injured, face the same consequences anyway. At the fringes of his vision, smoke began to coil -- and he yelped, leaping back frantically. Spinning in a quick circle, he snapped at the tuft of flame that had risen upon his flank, driving it into submission. It flickered out quickly, leaving his pelt looking somewhat singed. Sighing in relief, the male swiped his tongue over the area before continuing on his path -- forcing his thoughts toward the task at hand. He had allowed himself to become far too agitated, wrapped up in his worries and frustrations. Dropping his nose toward the soil once more, he toiled on, shuffling inquisitively through the leaves. I will find something soon, he determined resolutely, even as an unconscious dread began to creep through his chest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If Madjaster keeps being a smart alack Rajat might just try and rip of his ear to make point....just a heads up! (Rajat does not tolerate smart mouthed wolves....) Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male Rajat watched with no little satisfaction as the alpha female of the other pack made her get away in a rather quick exit. Rajat gave a rough bark like growl of derision...though Makeera seemed to be a good enough fighter to have kept her position as Alpha Female it seemed as if she had little self control or leadership which had been present to some degree in all the successful alpha’s Rajat had seen. That was dealt with...now Rajat had to deal with the other problem...Madjaster seemed to be purposely baiting the other alpha and other pack or not, Madjaster was not on the same level as any alpha. Madjaster had just go to his feet again when Rajat knocked the lead warrior down dwarfing the wolf with his unnatural size. Lavender eyes flashing with the annoyance that could so easily be converted to anger when it came to the completely silver wolf Rajat bared his teeth inches from the lead warriors face. “I warned you not to test my patience warrior, you have seemed to forgotten in my offer to take on part of your punishment that I am very unhappy with you. You also seem to be purposely be baiting this other pack endangering my few pack members...and though you are valuable to me I can assure you that if I had to choose between you and all the other members....you would not be my choice. Pure brawn and fighting skill is only half the fight to power wolf….and you seem to be missing the other half, intelligence and common sense. That is a sign of weakness and you should surely know my view of week wolves.” Slowly stepping off the wolf, Rajat then turned meeting the silver eyes of a beautifully colored female wolf, who then introduced herself as Beta Female of the Falling Ember’s Pack. “It is pleasure to meet you Iah Cehka, my name is Rajat and this is my mate Daphne, Alpha’s of the Setting Sun’s pack.” Rajat did not introduce Jarisol, the wolf was dangerous and cunning...it would be wise to not show all of the cards to this other pack. Studying this female, Rajat noticed that although Iah did not boast any exotic or odd coloring she still managed to have her own unique beauty. Rajat acknowledged that with a tilt of his head and a sharpening of his gaze, this female held herself much more differently than Makeera. Something in her stance suggested an alert state of readiness, Rajat had no doubt that this wolf would indeed be a great fighter...and by the way she had introduced herself, perhaps more qualified to deal with the politics and the more cunning part of the negotiation process. “Since we have eaten I presume the punishments will be next? I must insist that Madjaster does not participate in the Gaddergar because of his precarious state of health...I will of course take his place in that matter since I am the alpha and responsible for my pack members behavior. The Ragnaid will of course be permitted as it will not have as harsh effect on wounds. Do you agree? And will a healer be provided for both of us after since we do not currently have one within our ranks?” Though his sentences were worded as a question, there was no doubt by the tone of his voice that Rajat was not asking one, he was tired of the side steps the female alpha had taken around his questions, and would not tolerate the same behavior from this female as well. 0 players like this post! Makeera, Madjaser, and Camaria: Makeera was ready to come out by the time she had overheard the conversation. Stepping out, she held herself high, with her tail raised to the highest point possible. This was to demonstrate her rank and show she was more secure than before. "Are you sure you want to take part in his punishment? You chose the right one if so. The rhagniad is much more humiliating than the gaddergar. Yes, you will be getting a healer immediately." she answered, finally getting to the point. Madjaster looked Rajat in the eye as he spoke to him with that tone of voice. Finally staggering again, he asked, "What's so humiliating about the rhagniad?" He frankly had no idea what either punishment was, but knew that neither would be nice of him in any which way. Makeera did not bother answering. Camaria looked up from her now stripped clean moose leg, and grinned again. She took Iah Cehka's side quickly, making sure not to hold herself so high, but high enough to signify that she wasn't an omega. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Bascules/ Male/ Gamma/ FEP Slower to jump the gun than Rahese, the old male moved swiftly none the less. As fast as his aging body could handle he moved down the crest of the hill joining the gathering just after Iah introduced herself. After the pleasantries once again tock place, he moved next to the beta’s side. “Alpha male of Setting Suns.” Bascules greeted with a tilt of his head. “Please forgive the behavior of the pack this day. Tensions are high and grief is handled in different ways.” Eyeing his daughter for a moment as he said the next part. “Some deal better than others and I’m sure if you were in her place your reaction would be similar.” Eyes softening after looking on Makeera before looking back to Rajat. Having seen a lot of different wolves in his time, Bascules didn’t react to the large males size. “Please let us move on and finish the more pressing events. As you are willing to take on Gaddergar, I will let you chose a warrior to deal it.” Pausing for a moment to gather his thoughts, the old male went over the available wolves. Rahese was lead warrior but out of the question. If it was up to him, Bascules would hide the male away. It wouldn’t be right to show that one of their lead warriors were injured. Kiba sat near the gathering as well as Camaria. To young wolves that would be able to show off the strength of the pack. ”Kiba, Camaria would you two please join me for a moment.” Kiba/ Male/ Warrior/ 3 years/ FEB When all the tension finally snapped, Kiba was quick to jump to his feet. Inching to step between Raven and the others. For a moment he didn’t know what he should do. He was loyal to a fault and Falling Embers was his to defend until he could secure a spot in Setting Suns-. It was no longer a question on if he should join the other pack. Now it was a matter of when. But now was the moment to prevent war. Growling lowly at the newest wolf and the Setting Suns beta female. They threatened the safety of his mate and sister. It was only after Iah and Bascules stepped in that the growl stopped. Though the grey fog over his eyes stayed there. His gift locked on the male warrior of the other pack. Ear twitching as his name was called, Kiba looked up- grey fading from his eyes, Bascules was looking at him and Camaria. Trotting over to stand near the gamma, Kiba looked back and forth between the old male and Rajat. Having missed what was happening outside of his target, a side effect of his gift. Kashi/ Female/ Warrior/ 3 years/ FEP Not so much as twitching when all hell seemed to break loos, Kashi simply moved back from the gathering. It was ingrained in her to only attack distracted prey. She was a huntress not a battle ready warrior. Easy kills where he strong point. But she was not without her own keen sense of battle. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Nova move away to do something. Bascules and Iah joined the gathering and Serkahri brought the pups in for a bit. One seeming to nearly disappear. Noting that for later, Kashi slipped away to join the omega. ”Maybe it would be best to move them away from this area for now.” Kashi said in low tones, nuzzling Tundra softly then doing the same to the black female that smelled similar. ”If a fight breaks out they could be trampled in the fray.” Looking the omega in the eye, she gave him an intense look. ” Even if our leaders can talk the other pack down from retaliation to Makeera’s actions, it would be best, No?” Picking up a pup- Tundra to be exact- Kashi placed the young wolf on the omega’s back. Not leaving Belle out, she picked the female up and waited for Serkarhi to get in gear. But she didn’t get to hold onto the pup long as the Belle squirmed and struggled her way out of her grip. Daphne/ Female/ Alpha/ 4 years/ SSP Things began to quickly escalate I the gathering and didn’t twitch even an ear. Makeera was pulling others over the edge with her spiral over. She couldn’t blame the female for lashing out in her time of grief but it was putting both packs at risk. The sweetness of her poison tanged on her tongue and tingled her claws. When Rajat barked out at the pup-ish wolves, Daphne started at the sound. Standing to her paws and joining her mate. Looking up at most of the wolves around her, Daphne stood tall and proud not letting her size be a hindrance when Iah and the old Gamma came to speak. ”A pleasure, Iah.” She responded when Rajat introduced her. Taking in the other female as Makeera rejoined the group. Rajat was once again offering himself up in place of Madijaster and Daphne would have words for him once he back at their own camp. As much as she could, Daphne trusted in Rajat. But protecting the pack would not work so well if two of the five wolves in the pack were injured. Her mate may have been a protective fool, but she was not. If Rajat did not heal as swiftly as he should, the fae would be in the wind once again. No matter the connection she felt to the pack, or the need to be near Rajat. If her safety came into question, Daphne would bail urging Rainar to do the same. Hopefully they could get far enough from the male before he ‘called’ them back. With her mind jumping around, Daphne skipped back to what the old male was saying. A olive branch being handed in the form of a choice was a bold move for the Fallen embers pack. It may have been a saving grace as well. But she had the feeling that the old male was speaking only to her alpha. It may have been the right thing to do, but Daphne didn’t like to be dismissed so easily. ” I’ve had a chance to sniff out the area, I’m sure there are more warriors you have to offer… if the faded scent markings are anything to go by.” Saran was the first thought, her unlikely male…. Friend? He was a warrior, but not present. ”When your pride brings you down ‘mate’,” She spat not glancing up at the male. “”I will be waiting in our den” Not waiting for their response, the poison flower marched away from them. Glaring down on Madijaster in her passing she hissed. ” You get pissed on while our alpha gets a piece of his hide torn out, you inbreed mongrel.” Just as fast as the words slipped from her muzzle, the female was blank faced once again and walking away. ”Rainar. Come. We will not be backing up the foolish.” Belle/ Female/ Pup/ FEP Walking silently as her papa ushered them around to the gathering, Belle took in as much as she could. There were lots of wolves she didn’t know and the scents didn’t match up. The hash growls hurt her ears so she tuned them out. knowledge was power, but not worth losing her hearing over. Turning back to her father she noted that her new friend wasn’t there anymore. She could smell him, but he wasn’t in her line of sight where he should be. ”Where?” she asked but didn’t get an answer as Kashi showed up. Telling Serkahri to move. Tundra was picked up and dropped on their papa’s back and then Belle herself was swiped up. ”No. No. No. No. No!” She squirmed not happy to be picked up. Only her papa was allowed to do that. Not waiting once her paws touched the ground. Belle dashed past her father, Tundra and the unseen Calyx. Up the hill and straight into the tail end of Nova. The impact sent the little fae tumbling backward and onto her back. Dazed she looked into the silver sky. Her breath visible in the air. It was cold outside. Belle kind of liked it. It was always the same temperature in the nursery- to warm. If this was that ‘winter’ everyone is talking about then belle couldn’t wait for it. Something drifted down from the sky. It was white and fluffy. Belle watched it and went cross eyed as it landed between her eyes. Bright blue eyes blinked and uncrossed as she rolled over to her belly. shacking herself off, Belle trotted around Nova to stare up at her happily at both the adults. She had never spoken to them but it was always fun to listen to them talk. The always tired to one up the other. Each having a need to have the last word or growl. Not knowing she had just rolled into a stare down, Belle took her time to get an up close view of each wolf. Slowly she walked around Nova. She wasn’t small or overly large and smelt salty and sweet. Just like the healers den. It was made the pup kind of hungry, but she brushed that off. Bored when she couldn’t find the bird that was always with the healer, Belle turned to Rahese. He was still in a stare down with Nova, so she took her time. He was big, not as big as the pretty male down hill, but close. He to shared that salty smell but he wasn’t sweet. He was more of a tangy smell. But Belle still wanted to bite him, though biting wasn’t nice… or that’s what she had been told. Walking more to the side of the warrior, Belle found the source of the salty smell. It was a mossy patch smoothed to the males side. Inching closer, she smelled the patch. She didn’t know the smell but it was good, sweet and entirely under the icky moss. Once she realized she couldn’t get to it, Belle left the patch alone in favor of the males bristled tail. This being her first day out of the den and so close to those not related to her, Belle was overwhelmed and acting on instinct. Right now she wanted to play and chew. So she did and in the next moment Rahese had a little black pup latched onto his tail and little white claws gripping his but. ((For anyone wondering. Belle has a simple mind and always will. She’s going to be straight forward and wont be thinking anything to complex. Her speech will grow to be less simple but will the same no held back aditude.)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Madjaster, Makeera, Tundra, Camaria, Serkahri: "What? You're joking about that, right?" Madjaster asked, looking up at his alpha, Daphne. Makeera let out a growl, and said, "No." Madjaster's head hung low, knowing that it really wasn't a joke. Now was his dignity getting pissed on, but he himself too. Camaria came to Bascules as told. "Yes? What is it?" she asked, shifting her paws and flicking her tail. Quickly glancing towards Madjaster, Camaria couldn't help but snicker at Madjaster's tone and facial expression that seemed to show both nervousness and disgust. Tundra instantly shifted into carrying position as Kashi picked him up, assuming this wolf was safe. "Yes, but, if your'e going to take them away, please do be careful with them. And bring them back to em as soon as possible." Serkahri replied, moving only far away enough to not be seen in his den, which was conviently near the food pile where the two packs were. 0 players like this post! Like? |
