Old Sign-ups NEW Sign-Ups Thread Duskfall Pack Territory *pictures belong to their respective owners/photographers* Most of the Sunrise camp and the medium depth lake that lies at the bottom. The higher you trek up the side of the mountain, the higher the rank of the wolves living inside the open dens are.  The pack lives on some hilly plains in the shadow of a mountain and the only direct sunlight the camp gets is during the morning to the afternoon(sun rise to about 2). There is a shallow lake below the camp. The dens are caves in large boulders or carved into the sides of the mountain facing the east. The highest dens on the mountainside are occupied by the higher ranked wolves and their mates. The dens closest to the lake (slightly damper and colder) and in the lowest rockfaces are occupied by the lower ranked wolves. Derryn||4||Beta Derryn nodded reluctantly, but perked his ears as he started the hear the voices of the two that went out. "Very well." He nodded, pushing out of the den after Kenai, just as a disturbance came about the camp. A dark wolf approached, smelling foreign. At Kenai's motion towards him, his tail went up, and his ears did too. Tehcumseh~4~Zeta I stood behind the wolf and growled. I knew something was going to happen, but not the righy direction. The rogue wolf matched him in size, and I almost smiled at the thought of a real opponent. He knew not to let the buzzing of flies bother him,though granted her beta a cursory look at least. "I wish to join your pack. I've been watching you all for a few days and I think we could benefit each other greatly." He gave a small smirk "It's dangerous for a lone wolf around these parts. If I wanted to hurt your pack I would have done so a while ago. While you were sleeping no doubt." Cloud//Female//5 years//Warrior Mentions: Illumi and Derryn A new scent drifted into her bares so slowly she rose to her paws, water dripping from her alabaster coat. Not bothering to shake her pelt dry she moved forwards in her odd slinking way. Bow she could see a loner speaking to Derryn her lips curled back slightly as she wasn't fond of new wolves at all. Illumi Illumi shrugged "Seems fair enough. What would you have me do?" He stood in preparation and slid his paws in front him in a stretch, arching his back like a cat. He then drew himself up to his full height and looked down at Kenai with an unblinking stare. He wondered if she would have him fight one of her own wolves. The pack members here seemed predisposed to hostility when faced with newcomers but he would rather forge alliances than grudges at this point. A huff escaped her body in reply to everything that was going on, it was typical they'd notice her now. Oh so now that I so much as look at a new wolf I'm noticed and I'm instantly doing wrong? I don't know why I'm holding my tongue if I'm just going to be told off anyway she told herself. "I don't trust him, there's something I don't trust. That's coming from me" she knew she wasn't exactly the most trustworthy wolf. -no headers about to go to doc- Daemon creaped up on the trio, eyes plastered to the new male. His tail flickered slightly with a huff, hunter or not he could fight if need be. "So whose this Kenai?" His voice was calmer then Cloud's, it was slightly unsettling how calculating the male was as he watched Illumi. (Illuminati confirmed? xD) His lips twitched slightly as he sized up the male before sitting down and curling his tail around his legs, "Cloud. Don't judge a book by its cover." (illumi-naughty ;) hahaha) Illumi switched his black gaze from Kenai to Soren, remembering the young wolf from when he had trailed him in the past. He knew Soren was strong, but didn't feel as though he would be much of a threat. Might as well get this over wish. "As you wish," he said simply and like a snake was lunging at Soren with startling speed. He rammed into the dark wolf just below his shoulder and heaved upwards, throwing Soren onto his ribs before kicking him lightly in the stomach. He didn't immediately go in for another attack, instead hesitating for a second or so-long enough for a counterattack. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Dudee such pp :P wait for me to reply before finishing a battle before it startsss :( i like a good battle) Soren - 20m Watching the newcomer closely, he was caught off guard when he leapt at him so unannounced. Slipping to the side, he was too late and got the wind knocked from his chest. When he was shoved upwards he let his momentum carry him bacwards into a roll, and he rolled out of the way and farther from Illumi, narrowly avoiding the kick aimed at his stomach. Finishing his roll and landing on his paws, he kicked off the ground and hurled toward Illumi, catching his receding paw from the failed stomache attack in his jaws and twisting him around, jerking to the side. 0 players like this post! "I haven't judged him but if I don't like some wolf you know something's wrong" she simply left them to it. If they wish to trust this stranger and put their lives at risk so be it. I shan't be doing the same she told herself. The last time she'd had this bad a feeling about her wolf had been her father, that was the last time she'd seen any of her family alive. Nothing since that day phased her, it was what had made her who she was, that and the band of rogues who'd taken her in at first. The pack didn't know about any of that, and for a good reason. "Why put him against an apprentice? After all beating an apprentice isn't exactly a great feat they've no proper battle experience" she muttered to herself, wondering the reasoning behind it all. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kenai smirked "Quite right, Cloud. But, my little brother is neither an apprentice anymore nor is he quite inexperienced. He can handle himself, plus, the rogue is only slightly older than him, look. Soren also wont be judging him based on a fight lost, nor a fight won. He will be judging him on how he looks, feels, how angry he gets when frustrated...you can learn so much about a wolf when you participate in a mock battle together, gain experience, gain an ally - or a rival - from a few minutes of intensity and heat of the moment choices.
