Aela let out a breath of relief she hadn't known she'd been holding, and smiled at Keahi, "It's over here. Don't worry, you can earn it back later if you want. But for now you should learn when to accept help and to thank us properly for it." She wagged her tail to take any sting from her words and padded over to the prey pile which had been diminishing in size lately. "Take your pick." Ordinarily she would have offered to go along with the hunt and help where she could but she felt like taking a breather in camp after patrolling all evening.

Nova | Beta | Mentions Lucifer
Nova rose to his paws gracefully and padded over to Lucifer, eyes shining at the mention of the hunt. "Adsila and I have been meaning to go on a hunt soon, so I'm definitely in," he said and stretched out his almost healed leg. "I want to test how well I can hunt in my condition as well." The feeling of being useless in camp had been bothering him more and more lately. If he could assist in a hunt in any way he would feel better, and the air between some wolves in camp had been stagnating. If Pyre and Adsila could work together on a hunt it might help strengthen their relationship a bit.

Sky chuckled and cast his gaze over Nova's ragged appearance "Fixed up by humans ey? That's an adventure I wouldn't mind having one day. Talk about alien. It's too bad we weren't there for the raid. I've got a bone or two to pick with some of those Sunrise weasels." Gem nodded in agreement and continued in his brothers stead;

"Arielle's becoming a noble? That's great," he said in a warm voice, ignoring the smirk that Sky was giving him. "I think we're due for our own ranks too. It felt like we were scout, warrior and hunters all in one when we were travelling. we even had to fight (and run from) a bear at one point" Gem thought back to the long nights of running, and sleeping with full bellies beneath the warm sun, and feeling Sky's strength at his back as they defended themselves from an assortment of enemies from wolves to hunters. It had been a daunting time full of uncertainty as it was them against the world, but at the same time it had been an unforgettable experience and he was already longing for that restless freedom again.

When Lucifer called out about a hunt he and Sky exchanged twin looks of excitement. If they could prove themselves on a hunt then maybe they could receive their ranks sooner rather than later. "We could do with a hunt!" Sky called back to Lucifer.

The male paused and glances over at the small food pile, his tail wagging in appreciation and his stomach growling loudly. Whining his thanks the red wolf crawled towards the food pile, sniffing around before taking a rather plump(?) rabbit from the pile.

Just as he lay down to eat away from the pack, and idea sparked in his head. "Um.." Keahi blinks and rips off the rabbit's hind leg with a bit of difficulty. Dang it, he thought, I really am weak. A puppy could've got it better than me!

He huffed and rose to his feet, his yellow eyes briefly searching for the female he had met. Finding her at last, the male took a few steps towards her, "Aela right?" he panted as he approaches the female. Without words, the male dropped the leg in front of the female as a token of his thanks.

Arielle | Female | 13 months | Apprentice [ STB Noble ]

Arielle pricked her ears forward at the mention of a hunt, wagging her tail again. "I'd love to go on a hunt as well," she chirped, knowing that part of the expidition would be to test her abilities and see whether or not she was fit to be a Noble. Her nap had rejuvenated her from the sparring match before and she felt she had the energy to bearing down a deer or elk.

Arielle blinked in surprise, staring down at the rabbit leg. Why?...then it dawned on her that Keahi was offering the leg to her. She touched her nose to his in thanks "I think we'll get along just fine," she said with a grin, and lay down to begin gnawing on the leg.

Keahi smiles and pads away, his paws pulling the remains of the rabbit underneath his chest and laying down to gnaw on it. The male's fangs sink into the flesh and Keahi's yellow eyes close in satisfaction. It's been a while since I had something so delicious, he thought. For months the young wolf had been living off small mammals like rodents, it wasn't nearly enough to fill the male's stomach.
