During this time all of the leaders meet to discuss, well, anything they need to discuss XD and news can be shared by them if they call the attention of all the horses in the meeting place. ~Lead stallion's and Lead mare's word is law ~Horses are forbidden to fall in love with a horse from another herd, but you can break this rule, as long as you are ok with the punishment that follows if you get caught, being removed from the herd. ~You can switch herds, though it is not very usual for horses to do that. ~Lead mares and stallions can change the rules, usually with the okay from the other leaders. ~If you break any rules, you must answer to your lead stallion. The herd lands: The horses live up in the mountains, in the beautiful green valleys, where there are threats, but the herds have never had major issues with them. current Season: Late Winter Start off: All of the herds are preparing to go to the meeting place, where all the herds meet every 2 months. The meeting place is a large lake with a beautiful valley of sweet green grass. (read traditions if you need to know more) Character SheetsNo thread generated. Lucinda // Mare // Scout's Herd-Scout // Mentions Oriana The dark pigmented mare turned her crown towards a young mare trotting her way towards her frame, a nickname she hasnt heard in ages clapped it way to her ears, making them perk down at Oriana, her skull cocking to the side a bit before feeling light tugging on her white mane. Grunts left her nostrils as she nudged the mare gently, her gentle voice cracking a bit as it was the first time she spoke that day. "Hello darling." She'd snicker slightly. She glance done again at Echo and found herself thinking that perhaps they could be a little late to the gathering. Quickly, she shook her head, refocusing her thoughts. Be late? Unheard of! She stamped her foot on the ground suddenly growing impatient that her herd was nowhere around. She called out once again, letting her whole herd know she needed them to come to her now. Something about this younger mare made her try to not be as strict as she would with other horses around the herds. Possibly it was her childish, exciting behavior that made her lever down. Casually she'd stare down at the slightly smaller mare, her fluffy tail flickering around gently until she spoke with a sharp tone. "What herd are you in sweetcheeks? She answers. She thinks the name Loyal is very fancy. She doesn't care about what the others care. She stomped her foot into the ground again making a hole and falling. "EEEAAHHA!!" she screeches out. "Take my foot out! There's something in there!" She screams trying to keep quiet. She felt embarrassed. She didn't want to let anyone see. She flattened her ears and smiles at Lucinda. She tries to look as calm as ever. "Oui, stop hassling or you'll really funk yer' foot up." She'd sneer, a snort chortling through her nostrils. Lucinda would press her snout against the young mare's chest and pushing up, releasing her hoof from the hole gently. "Don't you go around stomping about now. You'll break yer hoof and you'll be an easy target to the predators that lurk outside of herd lands." As quickly as bad memories came, she pushed them away back to the back of her mind. "Acting calm is only showing me how much more you are having a near panic attack darling." She'd chuckle after a few minutes of silence. "And royals herd?" Lucinda would follow after the hyper mare and clip some grass into her mouth and finishing it before talking again. "Don't be embarrassed, it was only an accident, and doesnt everyone make mistakes from time to time?" Her crown would then nudge against the youngling affectionately to show she wasn't disapproving of her actions as it might have with the Royal's herd. He caught her gaze and nodded to her in a friendly and foreshadowing way. "You lead this one," He was referring to the patrol, he didn't want the other horses to think that he had more power than she. They had equal, and Zeus felt bad because he felt like he had taken some of the power from her this day. He tossed his mane while waiting for her to give the signal, Freeing himself from the snowflakes that had invaded his pelt and forelock. Jade | Mare | The bachelors | Mentions: Andeo (indirectly)| Jade watched the horses in the other valley for a moment before turning back to the woods. The mare walked through the small forest, her white and black fur glimmering in the sun dogs. She broke into a slow trot as she wondered further into the woods. She caught the strong smell of Andeo. She slowed to a walk, to a stand. She didn't want to scare or disturb him. she sighed and turned to walk in the other direction, she walked slowly and hung her head, she didn't know why. She just felt empty all of a sudden, but she kept going, not about to completely give up. Though he could see from her tone and her eyes that she wasn't the most happy-to-be-social mare. Lifting his gaze to the sky he saw the sun burning bright above them, almost at its highest peak. Letting out a slight snort, Ace held his head high and watched the horses from their vantage point. They looked small to him from here, like ants, and he felt as though he could stamp his hoof and unsettle them. Its was probably true, if he stamped his hoof at any of them, he would most likely be swarmed by protective questions. He let out another huff of amusement at the thought. Then he ended his fantasy and turned back to Nami, seeing that she was looking a tad bit anxious. Lowering his head from the high position he had held it at, he hoped that she wasn't unsettled because of another horses presents, his own, though he knew this most likely the case. Delilah | Scout (Mare) | The Scouts | Mentions: Vega (directly) | Delilah smiled at Vega's sudden excitement. "They are just over that hill, just follow the river. They are called the scouts, they will be happy to help you. We would never turn down a lost Filly." She neighed softly, she nudged Vega's shoulder with her snout, in the direction of the scouts. She walked beside the Filly towards the herd. She broke into a playful trot, looking back at Vega happily. "Come on!" She called, "Your messing with one of the fastest herds in the valleys! bet you cant beat me!" Delilah added sarcastically, giving a playful throw of her mane and a skip in her trot.
