Eaglepaw l M l apprentice Eaglepaw saw Fallensky soar past him and Rainpaw. He didn't worry about that, he just wanted to beat Rainpaw. He got even with her again but it took a little more energy then last time. But he still managed to get to her. If she didn't want him to go easy on her then he wouldn't. Slowly, he started to get ahead of Rainpaw. He had to give her credit though. That move she used at the start made him doubt whether he'd catch her or not. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Webwing's thin layer of fuzz-like fur wouldn't do much to combat the rays cast upon her, so maybe it was going to be a hunting-in-the-trees day? Who knew? He tucked his paws close to his body and dived downwards at Aspenpaw, pulling up at the last moment so they didn't collide, but close enough that on the down-beat his wing tips hit her in the face, the feathers hopefully impeding her vision. At the same time he dropped the squirrels and caught them in his paws, his claws snagging in the soft fur. "When we get back to camp I'm going to see how well you do on the ground!" he called to the apprentice. Rainpaw | apprentice | eight moons | female | mentions Eaglepaw Rainpaw growled when she saw Eaglepaw beginning to overtake her. She gritted her teeth and forced her wings to flap harder, managing to pull up even with the paler tom. "Not..so....fast!" she managed to hiss and snaked her head forward, jaws closing on his tail though she was careful not to bite at full strength lest she injure him. When Rainpaw's competitive streak was fired up she was hard to calm down and she'd been known to go above and beyond what was necessary in order to win. Each time she collided with a cloud, it seemed to explode, leaving small, white puffs behind. As she turned her head up, feathers beat down across her face. Aspenpaw let out a low growl as she was blinded, her own wings spreading to keep her from spiraling. Although she had know clue where she was going, the she-cat continued to beat her wings. finally she blinked the last of the feather particles from her eyes, and began frantically flapping her wings. A tree was racing towards her, and she barley soared over it. Aspenpaw looked for her mentor, and saw that he was almost to camp. In a last ditch effort to win, the apprentice followed after Skypool.
