"Yep, I guess so," Liam said, giving them both a nod before he left. Leaving their house, he started jogging through the woods until he got to the little cottage his family stayed in. Some of the pack had homes, others had cottages like them, some camped out, and a rare few spent most of their time in wolf form.

Kaze--

A gasp echoed around the small, quiet house. Kaze sat up, breathing a bit heavier than what would be usual. The vampire looked around with wide eyes, the nightmare still the first thing on his mind. Realizing that he was not in a dark, shady alley, the vampire calmed down slightly. His fear and confusion were soon replaced with frustration and anger, seeing that it was still light outside. "When the fuck is the sun gonna set?" He cursed to himself, slowly getting up. A few moments of glaring at the world, and Kaze sighed, letting both the dream and the anger go. He stretched for a good minute, yawning. He left the bright living room, moving to a darker hall. And from that hall, a comfortably dark bedroom. Kaze crawled into the bed, throwing a few thick blankets over him. He fell asleep soon after.

Eric looked at Liam "alright. And I wont forget." He looked at Riley weirdly as he noticed that she was trying to tease Liam "alright let's go then, I'm starving" he replied as he started to stand up.

Riley jogged down the stairs, walking into the kitchen, as she heard the backdoor open, signifying Liam's leave. She walked into the brightly lit kitchen, the orange walls a popping color. Her mother, Ana, was leaning over the stove, mixing the giant pot of chili. The delicious smell filled Riley's nose, making her stomach growl in anticipation of the food. "Smells good," Riley compliments, as she looks at the table, in the middle of the kitchen. Riley ran a hand through her hair before balling her hands up. "I think I'm going to go for a walk," Riley states, realizing how good getting fresh air sounded. She walked outside. The sun was going down, leaving the sky an array of pink, orange, and yellow. It looked beautiful. Riley had always loved the sunset, especially now. It was one of the things that would stay the same no matter where she went. Riley walked into the forest, touching a tree as she went.

After a bit, Kaze woke up. He yawned and stretched before getting out of bed. He stretched again, walking out of his bedroom. The vampire paused, noticing the sunset. Staying out of the light, he watched it for a bit. He smirked. Finally He thought. I can go outside again. Kaze went back into his bedroom, starting to dress. He pulled on a gray t-shirt, and above that a black sweatshirt. He wore a pair of comfortable jeans, and some shoes. Kaze ducked into a bathroom to check his hair, styling it a bit before leaving the bedroom. He looked around, noticing that it got much darker in those few minutes. The vampire walked toward the back door, knowing that the area behind his home was in shadow. He slid open the glass door, and left his house. Of course, he locked the door behind him. Kaze glanced around, pulling his hood over his head and stuffing his hands in his pockets. He began to walk. The vampire strode into the forest, looking around. He huffed every now and then as hair fell in front of his eyes, which glowed slightly in the dying light of the day. He walked through the trees, walking a bit faster when he was caught in patches of light. Of course, the light didn't burn him- He was protected by his long clothes. As he walked, he suddenly picked up the footsteps of another. The vampire paused, looking around the dimly lit forest. It was then that he saw the girl, lightly brushing a tree with her fingertips. She didn't look familiar. He slowly, carefully, and silently walked closer, keeping out of her sight. Then, he broke a twig under her shoe. "You come here often~?" He smirked, staring at the girl. He waited for a reaction, wether it be surprise, anger, confusion, or something he didn't expect. Who knows, maybe she would jump right into his arms? Talk about an easy meal.

Riley jumped, as she heard a voice behind her. She slowly turned to see the person responsible for the voice. He had a black hoodie and jeans. His black hair, hung low in his eyes, and Riley looked at him. She hadn't seen him around when she had been younger, but even if she had, she probably wouldn't have recognized him since the six years she had been away. A lot could have changed. He looked around her brother's age and was actually kind of cute though Riley wouldn't say that out loud. She raised her eyebrow at him, arching it, before using her hand and reaching up to sweep the hair out of his eye with a grin on her face. "That's the oldest one in the book," Riley states withdrawing her hand. "And it's cheesy. Obviously I don't come here often. You haven't seen me before." She looks at the stranger, beginning to switch her weight between two feet, as she bit her bottom lip. Maybe being out here wasn't the wisest idea. And talking to strangers? Wasn't that rule number one of the don't do list? It was stranger danger, stranger danger?

Kaze chuckled. He had quite a smooth, sexy voice. "Oh, I know. But it worked, right? I got your attention." Kaze seemed friendly enough. He watched her, studied her. "Mind introducing yourself?" He asked, glancing at the forest around them. He seemed to be admiring the beauty of the setting (And the beauty of the dazzling young lady in front of him), but he was truthfully watching for others. Like...Werewolves, perhaps? He knew they were out in these woods. He could tell if someone was a werewolf- they smelled different from regular humans. The vampire leaned against a tree, turning his attention back to Riley once the coast was clear.

(( Just a question--Riley is a full human, right? No bit of werewolf blood in her? And, what about Eric? I heard someone mention that he was like a half-werewolf? How would that work out? ))

Riley turned her head to the side, narrowing her eyes at the man in front of her, but a playful smile was still on her face. "Who wants to know?" she asks, a smile on her face though there is doubt in her mind. This could be completely harmless, just meeting a guy in the woods and wanting to know about each other, but at the same time this seemed like a bad idea. A bad situation. Something in the back of her head, told her this was wrong, and she shouldn't continue, but this conversation was intriguing, and Riley was enjoying it and not quite ready to leave this conversation yet. "You first."

((Riley is full human. Eric and Riley don't share the same father. Eric's father is a werewolf, so the gene passed down. It doesn't matter that his mother is human. The gene passes down entirely no matter what sort of like in Twilight))

The vampire smiled. "Oh, alright." He shifted his weight, standing taller. "The name's Kaze. I live just down the street from you." He nodded back towards civilization, motioning in the direction of his home. "I've got nothing much else to say. No siblings, nothing much exciting happening." He continued to glance around, his eyes shifting to every shadow and dark corner of the forest in his view. Even in the far-off darkness, he looked for the light of wolf's eyes. Seeing nothing so far, he sighed in content. The vampire moved his gaze back to Riley, studying her face. He was already starting to like the woman. Being this, he'd have to go into the city if he wanted a meal. Plus, she's gorgeous. Why kill such a wonderful lady, when you can get to know her instead? He thought to himself. "Anything about you that you'd like to share?"

(( TBH I've never read twilight >.> I've seen gifs/clips of the movie, and heard of a war between vamps and werewolves? Plus like vampires sparkle but really that's all I know about the whole thing lmao. ))

(( Maybe Eric goes out to look for riley- Since, you know, dinner is ready, and he sees her with a stranger. So, since Liam's cottage/pack is closer, he goes and tells them? Then they go and check it out and realize that little Kazey here is a vamp and woohoo he better run)

"Nope," Riley answers, making sure to pop the 'p', as she looked at Kaze. There was a grin across her face though her mind was thinking different things. How did he know where she lived? Had he seen the her before? When? Where? Her mind was bubbling with questions about him, but she didn't want to ask. It seemed like an invasion of privacy. She looked up at Kaze. "I'm Riley, and I live down there," she tells him, looking away and quickly pointing at their house before turning back to look at him. "But you already knew that." Riley puts her hands behind her, putting them on the tree, behind her, and leaning her back up against it, leaving only her feet out. "So what are you doing out in the woods at night?" she asks, looking at him. The same question could really be asked of her as well, but she came for fresh air before talking to him. "Are you the loner or stalkerish kind?" she asks, amusement in her eyes and humor in her voice, as she looked at him.

(Wolf- Maybe you can describe what it's like at the house? Maybe what the other wolves are talking about. Are there people there? Is it a party tonight? Are they planning an attack/search for the vampire? It would be a nice way to get some roleplay in.
