Alderfall jumps at the rabbit before it escapes, making a swift bite to its neck.
"Nicely done. That makes... 3 mouths fed."
Alderfall purrs, going back to hunting. "Don't go too far, it's not safe around here."

Dewrain
The ginger decided it was time to clear the rubble, and began to pick up what he could. He traveled out of camp and attempted to dig a small hole to bury what he could. Am I even doing this right..?

Whitetail
He stayed with the Apprentice, he was too crushed at his passing to even let go. He hummed, the tune was more sad than before, he knew it was for the passing but, other cats might not.. he just kept humming, trying to mostly calm himself down.

Comforted by the kind tom's hummed tunes the she-cat listened in. They calmed her to an extent and she found herself hoping Rootpaw had heard some of the beautiful melodies before passing. She knew they would have comforted him... He was fond of Whitetail she knew, teasing her about The she-cat lifted her head and began grooming her lost apprenticece's pelt.
"We'll need to sit vigil for him," she murmured, possibly to herself, "and prepare a place for burial," she added again, her voice cracking on the last note as she tried to hold herself together.

He nodded, "yes.. I am not leaving him.." He wasn't ready to yet.. it stung him because he knew he was gone but, kept humming to him. He was in starclan and knew he could probably hear him.

As Loneheart padded to the center of camp, she took one look and already knew the apprentice was gone. * Great star clan why did you take him this early , he wasn't even a warrior yet.* Loneheart thought. This really stressed her out. She padded up to whitetail to comfort him. " You need to let go, he's hunting with star clan now, there's nothing you or anyone else can do for him except keep him in your heart." She said to whitetail. Before he could reply she went back to where she left her lunch, she hadn't even got to start on it yet. Settling back down she ate her vole.

Whitetail
He had gone cold, that had chilled him to the bone and he didn't really look like the normal Whitetail, he stopped humming, he stood up and left camp without a word, just a blank look in his eyes at what Lone heart had said, was she trying to comfort me? He didn't really care at that moment, he was in one of his moods and he had just gone cold.. maybe even numb of feeling because the aching, sad feeling he had was gone as he padded through the territory..

Quickstep curled around her kits to Sheard them from what was happening in the clearing. She purred and licked them soothingly, so they would calm and mabye fall asleep.

Nutflight

Nutflight was sitting by the fresh-kill pile, thinking about Rootpaw's death. He was too young, why did StarClan take him? She sat in thought for a few moments, then got up and sniffed at the fresh-kill. She picked out a young rabbit. Not wanting to eat it alone, she looked around for someone to share it with. She got lost in her thoughts, again. This time thinking about how the ground shook, then she snapped out of it and looked at her rabbit. Feeling a bit lonely, she took a small bite to distract herself. (Can someone RP with Nutflight?)

Blizzardthroat | Warrior| She-cat | Bisexual | Locaction: Camp
Lifting her head from her apprentice's body the she-cat stated longingly after Whitetail's retreating form. He had seemed to understand the pain she was going through, and the loss of his presence snapped her out of her mournful thoughts. Loneheart was right after all... Even if her words had seemed to upset Whitetail. Giving Rootpaw's fur one last soothing lick she pulled herself to her feet, she would need to prepare if there was to be a vigil held tonight. She had a flash of embarrassment as she thought of her stomach growling in the middle of such a serious even. But then wondered if that would count as breaking the silence of the vigil.. Not wanting to find out she forced herself towards the fresh-kill pile, allowing the rest of the clan time to say goodbye to Rootpaw without her overhanging presence there. Noticing Nutflight with a particularly large rabbit the she-cat went towards her.
"Mind sharing with me?" She questioned, her voice light due to interacting with her living clanmates.

Nutflight nodded, nudging the rabbit towards her. She looked towards where Rootpaw's body was, then she lie down on the ground with her head on her paws. He would of made a fine warrior. She thought, then she looked up at the sky.
