Whitetail
He smiled, him overworking? ... he did that right? he didn't think of it as overworking, just keeping himself busy as much as he could to keep his mind off of everything.. He sniffed the air, he smelled a squirrel and decided to stalk after it, maybe he would find a rabbit somewhere else? He slowly stalked down the slope, careful not to slip and being as quiet as he could, he stalked after the squirrel. When he reached the fluffy little thing, he pounced on it and picked it up in his jaws. He wondered if they could find a rabbit somewhere near by... He then decided to bury the squirrel and pick it later after they were done. He stood by where he buried the squirrel and waited for Quickstep.

Aspenkit

Aspenkit yawned, she shivered opening her eyes, wondering why she was cold, before realizing her mother was nowhere to be seen. She shook out her pelt, stumbling out of the nest, and looking around and sniffing trying to find her, but she only smelt Snakekit, so she followed the scent out of the nursery, her eyes squinting from the sun.

Spottedpaw

The tortoise shell trotted over to Badger. She leaned her shoulder onto the rock in an attempt to push it out of the den. Her tail was swishing.

Badger
With Spottedpaw's help the two got the large bolder out of the den and into the clearing. Stepping back from the stone Badger meowed, "Where do you think we should put the rocks? There's no way we would be able to get them all the way outo of camp...".

Quickstep
Quickstep chuckled at the Tom's confused expression and then turned to stalk a mouse she had scented. She crept up quietly, keeping her tail low and her weight evenot threw her paws. When she was a tail length away she pounced. She trotted back towards Whitetail with her catch.

(I thought they were in the nursery... Quickstep didn't want the kits to see the body of Rootpaw...)
Snakekit
Snakekit turned when her sister padded out of the nest. 😄 "Hey Aspenkit! Mama is out hunting, she's watching us" She meowed pointing to Nutflight with her abnormally long tail.

Aspenkit

Aspenkit was looking around camp when she heard her sister Snakekit, she turned and smiled, listening to her and nodding, her ears flickering, looking at the warrior supposed to be watching them. Aspenkit padded over to her and mewed, excitedly, "I wonder what she's gonna catch, I hope it's a rabbit, I've always wanted to see one."

"Do you think she'llama catch bird?! Then we could get so excited feathers to play with!" Snakekit meowed excitedly bouncing around Nutflight.

Whitetail
He looked at Quickstep as she approached and he smiled, "nice catch! Hopefully we can find a plump rabbit somewhere.. it could feed a few cats.." He sounded concerned, he wanted to feed every cat before himself. He always preferred to put every other cat before himself no matter what.

Aspenkit

Aspenkit agreed, as she too started bouncing around Nutflight along with Snakekit, "Yeah! Oh! We could make our nest so much softer! Oh! I hope it's a pretty bird!"

Quickstep
Quickstep smiled around her mouse and dropped it. She buried her catch quickly and sniffs the air. "I thought I smelled rabbit earlier but I can't scent it now" Quickstep meowed with a purr in her throat. She dug her claws into the ground and grinned, "It's been so long since I chased anything".

Snakekit
Snakekit turned suddenly and pounced on Aspenkit. "No, we should practice hunting!" She lept away and tumbled off her paws. Having tripped over her tail, she began to growl. "Mabye I could learn to walk without this dumb tail getting under my paws" She grumbled. She had forgotten already that she had tackled her sister and wasn't paying attention to Aspenkit's response.

He smiled at her, "you mean you haven't been chasing after a cat either?" He jokes and gasps jokingly, "that will not do.." He looked around, "hmm.. I see no cats around.. oh well.. you have me. Sorry, that is what you will have to settle for" he joked. He then cleared his throat and then got a little more serious, "maybe there are rabbits down by the place I wanted to go originally and got side tracked.."
