Oakpaw- Mentions: Spottedpaw

Oakpaw felt bad about his attitude towards Hollyfeather. He noticed Spottedpaw in the clearing. He wandered up to her. "Hi Spottedpaw. What are you planning on doing today? I got up early to go hunting with Hollyfeather. We didn't catch much."

Spottedpaw's ears perked at Oakpaw's voice. "Nothing really." She meowed, flickering her tail to her other side.

Oakpaw-

He nodded at Spottedpaw. "I think I'm going to check on Quickstep and the kits in the nursery." He halfway wanted some assurance. He hadn't been in the nursery since he was an apprentice, a fear of not ever breaking away from being a kit.

Whitetail
He had soon woke up and stretched, realising he was in camp and in the medicine cat den, he stood up and walked out. He was a little sore but, he walked around. He looked for someone to talk to since he was bored..

Quickstep
Quickstep yawned and pulled the mouse closer so she could eat it. She took a few bites and chewed slowly.

Darkpaw
Darkpaw's eyes blinked open and he yawned. He sniffed and silently thanked Whitetail for moving him off the floor. He stood and turned to Whitetail to see if he was awake.

Snakekit
Snakekit shifted again but was still asleep.

Badger
Badger shook out his fur and padded towards the temporary camp's exit. He was thinking of going out hunting before the sun got too high and made the prey hide.

Hollyfeather thought she heard Quickstep thank her as she exited the nursery, she purred a bit. She loved helping her clanmates.

He decided to go check up on Quickstep. He padded over to the nursery and poked his head in and looked at Quickstep. He whispered just in case other Queens were in there and sleeping, "hi there Quickstep.."

He padded into the nursery where he saw Whitetail and Quickstep together. He thought that he really shouldn't bother, but, regardless, he padded over. Oakpaw saw what was left of the scrawny mouse Hollyfeather brought her. "Hi Quckstep. Whitepaw." He acknowledged the tom. "I hope you like your kill. I was with Hollyfeather when she caught it. It was practically the only prey on the marsh!" He said, jokingly.

Quickstep
Quickstep looked up when Whitetail padded in. She smiled and purred. Quietly she moewed, "Hey Whitetail, how are you this morning? You can have the last bite of this mouse if you wa" She cut off as Oak paw entered. "Morning Oakpaw." She listened to what Oakpaw said and continued, "oh, thank you Oakpaw. Did you catch anything else while you were out??".

He listened to Quickstep as she spoke and was going to say something when Oakpaw padded in. "hello Oakpaw" he acknowledged the young cat. He sat down and neatly put his tail over his paws, quiet not to interrupt.

He mewed towards Quickstep "We didn't catch a whole lot. It was the first time I went hunting, though. I'm going to try to go on patrol later, or clear some more rubble. I'm just so excited to explore! What are you two doing today?" Oakpaw ignored the fact that he had interrupted Whitetail and Quickstep, in fact it seemed that he didn't particularly notice. He sat expectantly.

"Not much prey running huh?" She meowed to Oakpaw. Quickstep turned back to Whitetail, "Offer still stands. You want this last bite of mouse?" She asked pushing the mouse towards him. "I was thinking about going hunting, but I think I'll stay with the kits today" she meowed.


Snakekit
She gave a quiet mumble in her sleep and shifted again.

Darkpaw
Darkpaw noticed that Whitetail had left and got up. He started sorting and putting away the herbs he had used on Whitetail the night before.

He turned his attention to the beautiful Quickstep and gave her a smile, "no thank you, I already ate but thank you though" he said with a little purr laced in his voice. He looked to Oakpaw, "I can't exactly do anything... I am injured and the pain isn't that bad but, it still hurts to really move.. what are you up to?" He asked Oakpaw, a little curious.
