September Event: The Harvest

Quickstep
"Are you done playing Aspenkit?" She called from the nest. She lifted a small feather from the nest and let it fall back down, "the nest is nice and soft if your ready to sleep".

Darkpaw
Darkpaw worked quietly and intently on Whitetail's wounds. He licked out a nice paw full of pebbles by the time he had gotten them all. He picked up the Dock with a paw and began to chew it into mush so he could apply it. He began to gently apply the dock pulp to each of the scratches and scrapes.
(That is how dock is used right? Or did I just poison Darkpaw....)

Badger
Badger smiled, "Thanks, if we keep working on it the camp should be repaired in three days time". He smiled happily to Hollyfeather and padded to the apprentice's den and curled up to sleep.

Aspenkit

Aspenkit yawned again before her ear twitched as she heard her mother, she turned her head to look at her and nodded, as she got to her paws and padded towards the nest and her mother. As she climbed into the nest, she stumbled alittle before curling up into the side of her mother, purring at the softness, "I'm so tired,Momma, but we had fun, Nutflight was being so fun. I hope we can play agin soon."

Quickstep
"I'm glad you had fun while I was out", Quickstep purred giving Aspenkit's head a lick. She looked up to Snakekit and Nutflight playing in the clearing, "Snakekit, it's time to go to bed" She called to them. "Thanks for taking care of them today Nutflight" she nodded to the young warrior.

Snakekit
Snakekit huffed and turned to look at her mom, "why do I have to go to bed?". She snorted and walked into the nursery and sat in the nest by Quickstep. "I'm not even a little bit tired" She mewed with a yawn curling up. She was still grumbling when she drifted to sleep in the soft, warm, nest next to Aspenkit.

Aspenkit purred as she snuggled up to Snakekit and Quickstep and quickly drifted off to sleep.

Spottedpaw

Oakpaw-

Oakpaw shook his fur and stretched out. He slept hard. He hoped that he would get to hunt today! He pattered around camp to see who else was stirring.

Hollyfeather, Warrior, Mentions: Badger, Oakpaw.

Hollyfeather nodded in response to Badger's reply, then walked to her best in the Warriors den. She closed her eyes and instantly fell asleep, the day's weight finally settling.
(The next day) ◕◡◕
Hollyfeather's eyes flew open, she didn't recall the nightmare but it had scared the living dark forest out of her. She stood up and shook off the dream as she padded out into camp. From what she could see only Oakpaw was awake so she flicked her tail in greeting.
"Hey Oakpaw! What's up?" Hollyfeather loudly meowed without thinking of her sleeping clanmates.

Quickstep slept as sun filtered into the makeshift nursery.

Badger
Badger stretched and stood. He always felt toolarge for this den, and he was. He bent down and slipped out of the apprentice's den. He yawned mightily and sat down to groom his pelt.

Darkpaw
Darkpaw had worked on rubbing the dock gently into Whitetail's wounds late into the night and had gone to sleep on the ground next to Whitetail's nest.

Oakpaw- Mentions: Hollyfeather

He turned towards the she-cat. "Good morning! I was thinking about going out and hunting. I didn't get a chance to do it yesterday." He got an idea, and spoke almost as loudly as Hollyfeather did in greeting, "I haven't been hunting before. Do you think that you have time to take me out before everyone gets started on clearing the rubble again?"

Whitetail
He hadn't noticed he had drifted off after eating the poppyseed, he opened his eyes slowly to see a sleeping Darkpaw next the nest he was sleeping in. He looked around for the Apprentice's nest and then when he found it, he picked up the sleeping Darkpaw on his back, which still hurt but he wasn't going to leave him there... he was careful not to wake him up and set him carefully in his nest. He then went back to the nest he had been sleeping in and laid there, acting like he didn't do it.

"Hmm, do you? We'll see about that. Follow me, I know a good place," Hollyfeather teased, she started out of camp and slowly padded to a stretch of moor that was speckled with purple heather.
"This is the place," Hollyfeather whispered, she opened her jaws to smell nearby prey. To her surprise, she only scented a few nearby rabbits. 'Strange, usually this place is flooded with prey' she thought.
