Quickstep let out a triumphant yowl and pounced. She tried to land squarely on Whitetail's shoulders. She used her tail to angle herself where she should be able latch on without using her claws.

He looked over at her as she pounced, oh no... he thought. He got pounced on and now was being stepped on.. he gave a laugh and tried not to let the pain show.. he was still sore.. he now had to get his cobwebs changed again.. oh well.. he smiled at her, being pretty good at hiding the pain he was felling. "You got me.. now what beautiful?" He winked and teased.

Quickstep gAve him a shocked expression, batted him on the nose, and sprang away again. When she landed she immediately sat down and began to groom a paw as if nothing happened. She looked up, "Oh, Whitetail? Weren't we going to hunt?" She meowed in a teasing tone raising an eyebrow. She set her paw down in mock disapointment, "And I was sooooo looking forward to bringing back a nice big rabbit". Her eyes were still showing a flirtatious gleam and a teasing glint and she couldn't quite hide the smile.

He gave a smile, now a little more sore than before, getting up when she got off was a little hard.. he tried to hide it but.. he was having trouble.. he finally got up and shook his pelt. He looked at her, "oh yes.. I guess we should get to that now then" he gave her a wink and padded past her, his tail briefly brushing under her chin, in a kind of playful way. He was flirting and he thought he was flirting like a weirdo.. oh well. He guessed it could be a little funny sometimes. He glanced back at her when he stopped, watching her and waiting, he couldn't just leave her..

Quickstep smiled and fallowed. She noticed his more stiff movements and frowned, "Are you ok?" She asked trotting up nest to him. "I didn't hurt you when I pounced on you did I?" She asked conserned.

He looked at her, giving a small smile. "I am fine.. just a little sore.." He admitted that he was in slight pain but, it was bearable. He gave a purr and looked ahead, trying to catch scent of any prey

"Ok, but go see Mintwood when we get back ok?" She meowed letting her worry for him show through her eyes. She brushed her pelt lightly up against him as she padded up next to him. She began to scent for prey as well.

He smiled as he looked around, "I will don't worry" he purred. He soon got frustrated.. he couldn't smell any prey at all.. he knew that the prey was scarce but, he was hoping that at least one squirrel or other small animal was around.. he couldn't seem to find any..

Quickstep wasn't scenting anything either. She looked to Whitetail, "You smell anything? Because I'm not getting anything".

He sighed heavily, "no not at all.. this is troubling.." He looked around and tried to catch some prey scent of any kind but, still couldn't find anything..

"Mabye we should hunt on the borders? Some prey might cross it and into our jaws" She meowed looking off in the distance towards the border, "Or mabye along the nonclan border aswell?". She pointed with her tail.

He nodded, "maybe.. I just hope we can find some.." He sniffed the ground like a dog, listening closely to any sudden rustling in the trees or bushes.. he didn't want to miss anything.. he looked to Quickstep, "shall we get going?" He smiled.

Quickstep nodded and padded after him, "yeah let's go" she meowed. She made sure her fur brushed his as they walked. Her paws felt the earth was dry and cracked. She dug her claws in to the earth with each step.

Hollyfeather returned from the gathering.
She was very tired still from moving all the rubble in the real Windclan camp so she decided to take a nap. She padded over to her best and gratefully sunk into it. She fell asleep instantly.

Badger
Badger left his mouse next to Cloudstar and padded towards the apprentice den. He looked up to the moon hanging high above and smiled. He headed into his den and to his nest. He curled up and his breath quickly slowed into sleep.
