September Event: The Harvest

Now that the loss of prey is finally fading, Windclan is almost back to normal. Food is of plenty, and families are growing. When strange plants begin to appear in the dry plains, the questions begin. Perhaps the harvest was too great? As the new herbs grow, a medicine cat is desperately needed to find out the answer to what may be danger.

Oakpaw *transporting himself*

Oakpaw padded into camp with his mouse in his jaws. He proudly placed it on the fresh kill pile. The trip had been a success and everything seemed back to normal. Oakpaw padded over to the rock that Alderfall always sunbathes on. He deserved this. And with that thought, Oakpaw lept on the rock, stretched and curled his tail, watching the camp. He thought about what his warrior name would be and if he would be made a warrior soon.

Hollyfeather, Mentions: Oakpaw.

Hollyfeather padded out of the warriors den, she had just taken a small nap after a morning hunting patrol. Prey seemed to be plentiful now, a huge improvement compared to a little while ago when there was hardly anything.
Hollyfeather shook her calico pelt then padded over to Oakpaw who was resting on a rock.
"Hey Oakpaw, you're becoming a warrior soon right?" Hollyfeather meowed with a blink of her yellow-green eyes. She felt old, she was an apprentice when Oakpaw was born, it was crazy that another younger cat had already grown up in her lifetime.

The apprentice turned towards Hollyfeather. He enjoyed her company and she was the only warrior who made an effort to help him train and hunt. He felt excited when she was around. When she asked him, Oakpaw was perplexed. It's like she read his mind or something. (Had to put that in there, sorry xD)

"I hope to be made a warrior soon. Cloudstar just had her kits and Whitetail is still sick, so I don't think that me becoming a warrior is on anybody's mind right now." Oakpaw told Hollyfeather this truthfully. He figured it would take many more moons before he could be accepted into the ranks.

The still groggy tom stood and stretched, realising he was still in the medicine cat den.. he didn't like it very much.. he was still unsteady and wobbled almost every step. He had made it to the exit of the den and was peaking out. He wondered what was going on and what he had missed... where was every cat anyway? His eyes flicked over the busy camp as he shook slightly,his legs struggling to keep him up due to the earlier infection.. he dreaded his condition because he felt useless..

Hollyfeather cast a glance towards Whitetail, who still looked pretty sick. "I feel bad for Whitetail, being sick sucks."
Hollyfeather turned back to Oakpaw. "I can remind Cloudstar to make you a warrior if you want," She meowed with a friendly tip of her head. Even if the clan was busy right now they still shouldn't delay Oakpaw's warrior ceremony.

He was looking around camp from the entrance of the medicine cat den, he didn't like it in there but, he couldn't do anything.. he was still weak and disoriented.. he was still quite shaky as well. He noticed Holly feather look at him but, he wasn't really in the mood to go walking somewhere.. he would like to talk to cats. He felt quite lonely.. but, he wasn't really up to excitement either..
