September Event: The Harvest

"Alright, let's go" Badger purred heading out and towards the cliff and the river by the waterfall.

Quickstep felt the pain from her wounds and a strange feeling that somthing she loved had died. She just sobbed even harder.

Misty nodded and followed him, staying by his side as they went towards where they were going to hunt

Badger looked back at Misty and meowed, "So...I really don't know what to talk about...". He frowned.

Misty purred and shrugged "doesn't matter. I don't either, I just wanted out of camp" she purred sweetly, her tail brushing through the grass like usual

Alderfall

Alderfall darts back and forth between the trees, making sure his mate and father were close behind. They met no danger as he began to smell signs of home, until a rogue smashes into his side.
He growls, smacking the rogue across the face. Alderfall readies to pounce, but looks into the rogues eyes to see his brother. "Fang?"
His brother bares his teeth. "I knew you'd try to escape with father. He always was so frail, never could run the Moon Rogues. Now I'm Thorn's right hand cat, and you're not going anywhere."
Alderfall smashes into a tree as his brother tackles him to the ground, yowling in pain. "Father, Cloudstar, go! You're almost to the border!"
(I want to make it so they see Quickstep as well)
Alderfall bats at his brother's face, trying to push him off, but his older brother was too strong for him.
"I see you're part blind now, too. Complements of one of our cats poisoning the territory," he laughs evilly.
Growling, Alderfall uses all his strength, shoving his brother off with his hind legs. "Yeah, and I almost killed him for it!"
Circling his brother, Fang yowls to the rogues. Alderfall quickly skims the trees, seeing pelts flying through the trees.
"It's over," Fang snarls.
Alderfall wacks his brother, fleeing towards the border with Cloudstar and his father.

CloudStar

CloudStar slowed when Fang attacked AlderFall, but she ran off when she was told to. Of course, it was unwillingly, but she knew AlderFall could take the one cat

Alderfall

Alderfall reaches the border, ushering them forward when he sees Quickstep crying on the ground. "Quickstep?"
He nods for Cloudstar to take care of her, and turns around just in time to see cats emerge from the forest, Thorn in the front of them all.
"I knew you couldn't kill the old rat," he says, snarling.
Alderfall stands in front of his clan mates, "You aren't going to touch them."
Thorn laughs, coming closer. The other rogues stayed back. "Unfortunately, I'm not here for that. I knew you'd escape at one point. No, we're here because I challenge you to a fight. If you die, I get Windclan. If I die," He cackles, "the Moon Rogues won't come across your territory again."
Alderfall's eyes go wide. He looks back at Cloudstar, then at Thorn.

CloudStar

CloudStar ran to QuickStep's side, dropping down beside the warrior. She looked back at Thorn and hissed at him, but said nothing as she softly nudged QuickStep, hoping she was fine enough to walk with them back to camp where she could be checked on by the medicine cat

Quickstep looked up at Alderfall's words and exclaimed, "Alderfall! Cloudstar! I'm so glad your back.". She ignored the pain from her wounds and got up to nuzzle Cloudstar. "I'm so glad your ok" She meowed as a few more tears fell from her eyes. "I'm sorry sorry, I didn't mean to.." She cried but stopped when she saw Thorn. She straightened her self as much as she could, a long scratch on her back leg throbbed, and growled.

Badger picked up the pace to a slow trot. "There's usually lotships of prey around here." He meowed then his ears perked as he heard cats. "Do you hear that?" He asked dropping into a crouch and inching towards the sound.

Alderfall

Alderfall glared at Thorn. "What a bunch of lies. Either way, you'll still have your rogues come after my clan."
He paces back and forth, keeping his eyes on Thorn.
Thorn acts surprise. "No, not what I planned at all!" He laughs with hate.
Alderfall stops. "If I defeat you, the Moon Rogues will know not to test me."
Thorn stared at him, his brows down.
"Fine."
Alderfall walk into the clearing, glaring at Thorn.
A lump grows in his throat, knowing he might never see his kits grow up. Cloudstar could be alone, without him. He won't be able to protect his clan mates.. He shakes his thoughts off and Thorn and Alderfall start circling each other.
Thorn then hissed, running at him.

CloudStar nudged her "we have to go. You're hurt--I can tell--and i need to get back to camp" she meowed, her tail twitching


Misty

Misty perked her ears and nodded "yeah, i do" she crouched low, following him

Alderfall

Alderfall tried to doge the rogue, but a claw scraped his tail as he moved out of the way.
He growls, pouncing on Thorns back. He sinks in his claws, but the rogue didn't yowl, he shook him off.
Before he could regain his posture, Thorn smashes in him, tripping as he makes contact with the ground. Alderfall hisses, landing a claw on Thorn's face next to his other scars. The rogue says, "That'll be a nice parting gift, before I rip your throat out!"
He nips for Alderfall's neck, but Alderfall rolls, knocking the rogue over.
Clawing at the rogues belly, his anger takes control, and he pounds time after time.
Running out of breath, he sees Thorn's belly with tons of scratches, but they weren't deep. Alderfall was relieved he didn't go berserk.
Thorn suddenly whips out a paw, slashing it across Alderfall's neck. He falls to the ground, gasping.
The rogue gets up, looking down at him. "You would have never won.. You're too light hearted."
Alderfall coughs, trying to drag himself away. Thorn slowly follows him. "You never could protect them. You're weak. I tried to heal your father from his weakness, but he couldn't do it. Because of you."
Thorn comes closer, and Alderfall whimpers. The rogue comes down into his face, saying, "You're not a warrior. You're a murderer."
Alderfall shudders. As fast as a snake, he bites down on the rogue's neck, Thorn yowling in pain. He let's go, seeing the rogue fall to the ground just as he did.
"Enough.." Alderfall gets out. Thorn gets up again, blood dripping from his neck.
"HAH!" he spits out blood.
Alderfall looks up at the sky, pleading to Starclan that he wouldn't have to kill this monster.

Badger charged out of the grass and stands behind Alderfall waiting for orders.

Quickstep nodded to Cloudstar and limped away, towards camp.
(She is noticeably pregers now, BTW Cx )

Misty

Misty followed, the normally calm she-cat's fur fluffing up when she saw the battle going on


CloudStar

CloudStar followed her, often looking back in hopes that AlderFall didn't die. The leader stayed by the warrior's side so QuickStep could use her as support if she needed it. Her tail twitched anxiously, her ears pricked back but her golden gaze fixed on her paws

Alderfall

Alderfall watches Thorn come at him, slowly raking his claws down Alderfall's side.
Alderfall lifts his paws and hindlegs, locking his claws into Thorns skin, and rolls over, Thorn now on the bottom.
"You don't have to do this," Alderfall says.
Thorn coughs in his face. "I have nothing else to live for."
Thorn smacks Alderfall in his blind eye, blood moistening Alderfall's face.
Thorn backs away, seeing Badger behind Alderfall. "What the hell is that thing? No tail?"
Alderfall looks to Badger. "Nice to see you, apprentice."
He tries to get up, his legs wobbly.
