"The clan will be their family and love them as their own," she purred reassuringly. "But first things first you need to treat that. I'd say poppy seeds for the pain, yarrow to prevent infection, and then cobwebs to wrap it up and stop the blood." She shivered a bit as she looked at the shredded leg of her clanmate. "That must hurt," she thought.

(I know a little about herbs from the books because I'm a total book worm, and since our medicine cat isn't acitive I just improvised. Can't have cats dropping left and right from improperly treated wounds..)

Quickstep smiled meekly at Blizzardthroat and layed herself down, with as little movement of her leg as possible, and winced again. "Get the herbs and then pull that claw out, it's going to cause it to get infected if it stays in there." She gritted her teeth as she spoke.

Badger headed back to camp with Alderfall across his back. He could here him mumbling but couldn't make out any words.

Darting into the medicine cat's den she quickly reemerged with what she was 99% certain the right herbs. Placing the bundle down by Quickstep's injured leg she gently began working.
"Eat these first," she pushed the poppy seeds toward Quickstep with her nose. "They'll dull the pain and help with any shock you may be feeling from bloodloss."

"Ok" She meowed, quickly gulping down the poppy. Quickstep braced herself for the removal of the claw.

Misty followed, her tail continuing to twitch in worry. She was silent the entire way to camp

Blizzardthroat
The she-cat firmly planted one paw on Quickstep's injured leg, to prevent it from spasming and colliding with her face. After finding the most painless (she hoped) way to remove the claw, Blizzardthroat grasped the claw with her teeth and mumbled around it.
"On three I pull... one...t-" And pulled the claw out, thankful the element of suprise had prevented the muscles from tensing up as the numbers got higher. Otherwise the claw might have caused even more damage.

Alderfall

Alderfall sits in the clearing, thinking about what he just heard. He has 4 kits.. Loses one.. He thinks of Cloudstar.. At least not providing their milk will give her more time to lead.. still, the one kit made him upset.

Quickstep hissed and dug her claws into the hard earth as the claw was pulled out. Her leg began to bleed twice as much as before and he gnashed her teeth together. Once she saw that Blizzardthroat was preparing to fix her wounds she watched her until her vision faded out. She slept...

Blizzardthroat

Worried at the cat's apparent loss of consciousness Blizzardthroat worked quickly, soaking up the blood with clumps of moss she had grabbed just in case. Once applying the yarrow to the gaping wound she wrapped the leg tightly in cobwebs. The she-cat sighed in relief and thanked StarClan she wouldn't have to loose a clan mate today.

Blizzardthroat

The young she-cat cleaned up the few supplies she had gathered, and then took a seat near Quickstep to watch over her injured clanmate. She didn't want to move the she-cat incase she aggravate the leg wound so she decided staying close was the next best option. She dug her claws into the soft earth, tearing up small clumps of grass and dirt, as she stared anxiously at the camp entrance; hoping the others would return soon.
