September Event: The Harvest

(So sorry, my internet went out of some reason.)

Blizzardthroat
The she-cat's fur stood on end as she saw her clanmates fleeing towards camp. Blood covered all of them and the distress over the situation was evident. She had shown up as the conflict was ending, her bruised paw making her slower. Deciding it would be best to help assure that everyone was safe she joined Cloudstar and Quickstep.
"I'm sorry I didn't make it in time to help much. Quickstep, you look a little dizzy, are you alright?" Turning her head she locked eyes with Cloudstar, bowing her head slightly meowed, "Welcome home, Cloudstar."

CloudStar

CloudStar nodded a greeting to BlizzardThroat, but didn't speak. The gray-black leader's gaze seemed distant and she seemed distracted by something

Alderfall

Alderfall spits out blood, saying with a struggle, "I know your plan. Either way, we lose. If you die, the rogues will attack, if I die, you take the clan. There's no way I win."
Thorn laughs, "Took you long enough. So are you ready to die, Alderfall?"
Alderfall feels different. He looks up, and sees the clouds opening. He feels strength come back to him. "No.. Are you?"
Thorn shows a confused look on his face, but snarls.
White lights beam down, and seconds later, Alderfall sees shining pelts pad up next to him. He recognized his mother, and smiled in raw happiness.
There were other Windclan cats with pelts of stars, looking at the rogues in a defensive stance.
Thorn chokes. He looks back at his rogues.
"Attack!" The rogues hesitate, looking at each other.
"I said, ATTACK!"
The rogues turn, running. Alderfall looks at Thorn, his heart warm.
He looks back at Badger. "This.. is Starclan, my friend."
Thorn looks back, and the starry cats were gone. They completed their mission.
"Stand down, Thorn." Alderfall says, confidence in his voice.
Thorn struggles for the words. "Th-this isn't over.." He turns around, running for the shadows.
Alderfall let's out a breath, slumping to the ground. He gasps for breath, spitting out the blood that filled his mouth.

Blizzardthroat

Understanding her leader was distracted, Blizzardthroat focused on stabilizing Quickstep. She brushed her tail up against Quickstep's flank, ready to catch the she-cat should she collapse. So intent on guiding the two back to camp she nearly missed the sudden brightness shining down from open clouds. Smiling to herself she though, " StarClan must be answering somecat's prayers." A warm fuzzy feeling settled in her heart, though rattled by the sudden events, StarClan's presence was helping soothe her.

Badger looked at the cats with pure aww. He had never felt so much like he belonged before. He padded to Alderfall's side and stood to his full height. "It looks like you didn't need my help after all" He meowed unsheathing his claws he continued, "Let's get these 'Rouges' out of Windclan territory". He braced himself to spring at the cats. He looked between Alderfall and Misty with a determined grin on his face.

Quickstep looked at Blizzardthroat and sighed, "I wish I never left, I'm sorry.". She did stumble once on the way back to camp. Her scratched and bleeding leg gave out and she fell towards Blizzardthroat.

Alderfall

Alderfall looks at the rogue territory from the ground. "I think we'll be fine. For a while, at least."
Blood drizzles out his mouth, and he spits again. "Going to.. need some webs."
Alderfall wobbly gets up, catching his breath before going to look for some cobwebs. He looks back one more time, seeing light shining through the rogues forest. They don't live in shadow anymore.
He just realized how much blood he lost, seeing the small puddle where he was. He laughs, dizzy. "I'll.. be back.." He says to Badger, but his eye fades to black, and he falls over from loss of blood and exhaustion.

Misty

Misty, when AlderFall fell over, ran to his side "Badger, lets get him back to camp. He can get treated there" she meowed, her tail twitching with worry. Her fur, once fluffed with rage, now fluffed in fear--fear that the clan would loose a great warrior

CloudStar walked with her head low, her claws unsheathed and digging up soil with every step

Blizzardthroat

The she-cat reacted quickly to the sudden stumble, grabbing Quickstep by the scruff as she went down and gently hoisting her back to her paws. Lowering her own body she used her shoulder to support the warrior until the camp entrance came into view.
"We're gonna need to put some cobwebs on that gashed leg of yours... It looks pretty nasty. Can I ask what happened?"

Badger looks at Alderfall then dashes off. He returns a few minutes latter with some cobwebs and herbs. He went to work, doing a temporary fix so he could get Alderfall back to camp. He shuffled himself under Alderfall and lifted him.

Quickstep got her paws under her with Blizzardthroat's help. She sighed, "well....first I have to tell you I'm expecting kits if you haven't noticed yet...I..well..I went to see their father." She started to cry again and continued, "He...doesn't love me or want anything to do with them". She gestured to her belly with her tail. "He and his patrol attacked me and chased me back here. That's all..." She looked at her paws as she walked.

Blizzardthroat

Blizzardthroat sympathized with the young queen, understanding her distress. She knew how mixed lineage could affect a cat, being the product of a ShadowClan father and WindClan mother.
"That's his loss, you hear me. If he doesn't want to know his kits and see them become the greatest Warriors WindClan has ever seen that is on him. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother without his negativity," she purred reassuringly as they entered camp.

CloudStar

CloudStar, as they entered camp, left the two she-cats, padding to her own den without saying a word to anyone. She curled up in her nest, hoping nothing would happen now that she got comfortable. She sighed, hoping AlderFall would be fine

Alderfall

Alderfall was walking through trees, an unusual place for him to be. He hears sounds, but couldn't distinguish what they were.
Padding to a small clearing, he sees her.
Tears coming to his eyes, he pads up to her, shoving his nose in her fur.
"It's been too long. I'm glad you came."
He hears a purr. "I'm always here, my son."
Alderfalls heart warms, hearing his mother's voice.
"You need to know something, Alderfall. Your kits."
He pulls away, cocking his head. "What about them?"
His mom looks him in the eyes. "You'll have four. Cloudstar won't be able to provide for them, but the new Queen will. One will not survive, but the others are strong."
"What? What Queen? I lose a kit?"
His mother smiles, fading away.
Alderfall is alone in the clearing. He had no words.

"Ok...well...I guess I just don't want my kits to grow up without a father..." Quickstep whimpered as she sat herself in the middle of the camp clearing. She flicked her tail and turned to clean the blood out of her fur and clean the scratches and bites. Her leg hurt more than anything else, that scratch was by far the worst, it looked as though it went through most of the muscle. She winced as she shifted to get a better look. There was a claw lodged in the cut.
