September Event: The Harvest

Badger smiled at Misty and meowed, "That's fine. Even though it wasn't your fight you Did step in and help your new friend and clanmate. Ithe will just take some time to get used to". Then he (made this face <3) and meowed, "I never really knew my parents when I was growing up. The twolegs were always trying to catch us so we never got to sit down and talk about anything. I do understand what you mean though, because my parents did tell me somthing similar. It was 'Only help your family, because you can't worry about any but your own', at least I think that's what they said".

Misty purred sweetly, her tail curling to her side to cover her wound "i was the runt of my litter, so my parents wanted me to stay out of any and all fights. They were always afraid to let me out of their side until I got older. One day....something happened and my 'twolegs' got rid of my parents and siblings. That's when I had to worry about all the other animals and my own kits. Then....well, I guess you know what happened from there....with the dogs....." she mewed, though the pain of the past didn't seem to faze her anymore, aside from how her mew went quiet as she spoke of it

"Come on Rootkit, let's go play some moss ball. I may be rusty on the rules but I think you could teach me." Quickstep meowed as she padded into the nursery. She pulled a sturdy ball of moss out of one of the nests and batted it with a paw.

Noticing the little game of moss-ball going on at the nursery, the she-cat padded over excitedly. With the stress of recent events, a little fun and games seemed to be exactly what the clan needed. With a goofy smile plastered on her face she approached Rootkit and Quickstep. "Need another player?" She meowed.
