September Event: The Harvest

(I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's a new day?)

The she-cat opened her eyes slowly, breathing in the familiar scent of camp as she woke in the warrior's den. Her stomach growled and she leaped to her feet, surprised by the noise. A heat spread over her cheeks as she realized the sound had come from her. Quietly making her way out of the den, hoping no other cat had noticed her kit-like behavior, she made her way to the fresh-kill pile. Sniffing around for a few moments she decided on a plump rabbit and sat back to enjoy her breakfast.

Quickstep opened her eyes and watched the other cats in the nursery sleep. Her belly felt too big for her to get up. She hinted into a more comfortable position, yawned, and just lay there in her nest.

Badger rolled onto his paws and stretched his fourpaws. He fluffed up his fur, yawned, and went out into the clearing. He sat down and began smoothing his pelt back out.

Misty

Misty lay in her nest, asleep. Her side wound wasn't bleeding anymore, though the white fur around it was still clumped and stained. She was curled out, her tail tip twitching lightly. She shifted often, unable to get into a comfortable position and sleep well. The side wound was making it hard for her to sleep, it ached every time she shifted

Alderfall

Alderfall opens his eyes, seeing that it was darker outside than when he was last awake.
He gets up, wincing from the pain he felt all over.
Grabbing a big mouse from the fresh kill pile, he goes over to Cloudstar's den, taking a deep breath through his full mouth.
He pokes his head in.

Alderfall

Alderfall squeezed into her den, gritting his teeth as he settled down next to her. He puts the mouse by her paws, not saying anything for a while. He puts his head on his paws, curling his tail around her.

CloudStar glanced at him, then quietly took a bite of the mouse. She remained quiet, her gaze seeming quite distant

Badger smiled when he noticed Alderfall's exit of the warrior's den and entrance of Cloudstar's den. He stood grabbed a mouse and gulped it down. Then he headed out of camp.

Quickstep frowned at Misty's shifting. She reached her tail over to try to comfort the shecat.

Misty, gradually, stopped shifting, her tail wrapping around her not injured side

Alderfall

Alderfall looks around the den, not knowing what to say.
He opens his mouth, but nothing comes out.
He closes it again.
Giving up, Alderfall says, "Are you alright.."

CloudStar nodded "mhm. I'm fine. Just distracted" she meowed, glancing at him

Alderfall

Alderfall nods, "I understand. You don't like the monster you see anymore. I get it."
A lump rises in his throat, and he gets out of the den, limping towards the exit of camp.
He hurries, before tears shed, and allows himself to get lost in the tall grass before crying softly. Alderfall reaches his old favorite clearing, crying at all of it.
All of the things he has gone through, all of the pain he had to endure.
He was tired of looking like a monster, especially since his brother made everything worse.
His body shakes, and he slumps to the ground.

CloudStar pricked her ears, surprised. She got up, following him. She wasn't going to let him believe that. She shook her head, chasing him. She didn't care how he looked, she loved him(ew XD)

Alderfall

He puts his paws over his muzzle, shutting everything out.
Alderfall could only hear his own voice, saying he was a failure, a bad warrior, a disappointment, good for nothing.
He wails into the dirt, eventually gasping for breath.

Badger Padded towards Fourtrees. He desided to start at fourtrees and make his way around the territory along the border.

Quickstep heardthe sound of wailing in the camp and tried to stand, but her injured leg couldnt hold the weight and she never got out of her nest.
