Quickstep snagged the moss from Blizzardthroat and tossed it back at Rootkit. She laughed happily, enjoying the running commentary of the two.

CloudStar watched BlizzardThroat, RootKit, and QuickStep from her spot outside her den. Soon, she stood "BlizzardThroat, may I talk to you for a moment?" she meowed, her question more of a demand rather than a request. She was hoping BlizzardThroat would be a good mentor for RootKit and would be fine with it before doing anything. She didn't want to force responsibilities upon the shecat if she couldn't take them

Alderfall

Alderfall opens his eyes, hearing the sound of laughter. He looks around, seeing a few cats playing in the clearing.
All of his wounds had made improvement during the night, and it mostly felt as a throbbing pain in the areas now.
Getting up slowly, his legs shake. He breathes heavily, focusing harder.
He steps forward, feeling the numbness from not using his legs for a long while.
Alderfall turns towards the tall grass, feeling a walk would suit him fine.
He smells the breeze, thankful to Blizzardthroat, and happy to be much more alive again.

Rootkit-Windclan

Rootkit's ears drooped as he looked at the warrior, but he wanted her to go.
Getting called by the leader must mean that she was in trouble. He thought about what she could have gotten into suddenly he yawned and stretched then looked at Quickstep, " im off to go and take a nap" he meowed as he gave away another yawn

"Where?" Quickstep asked, raising an eyebrow and tilting her head. "Your nest is over here and its a bit muggy to be laying around in the clearing." She added smiling and looking out the nursery entrance. -I think is the going to rain- She thought then added, "Those clouds look like they may spill there banks any time soon".

Rootkit-Windclan

Rootkit yawned and cyrled up where he was " the rain sha'll clean my me" he meowed as he laid on his back with his paws sticking out.

Blizzardthroat
The she-cat snapped out of her playful daze and turned to look at her leader, "Coming Cloudstar," she hollared. Hoping she hadn't made her leader wait to long she skittishly made her way over to Cloudstar. Dipping her head as a way of greeting she sat down and tilted her head questioningly.

Alderfall

Alderfall went on a short walk, losing energy fast.
He makes his way back to camp, able to enjoy the fresh breeze for once.
As soon as he reached camp, Alderfall limps to the warriors den, tired already.
He doesn't see Cloudstar, and knew it wa best to stay away. She was carrying kits, and trying to be a leader.
He considers bringing her some food later, once everything has died down.

/cloudStar shifted lightly "i was wondering, would you be able to mentor RootKit? He needs a mentor and I cant think of anyone better than you, I just want to make sure you'll be able to take the responsibility" she meowed, her gray-black tail curling over her paws

Blizzardthroat
The she-cat broke into an overwhelming grin, "Of course!" She replied. "I would love to, he's such a sweet kit. I can tell he'll be a great learner. I would love to be his mentor.." She stopped short, "b-but I've never had an apprentice before so it's going to be a bit of a challenge," she finished her ears slightly folded back but her atitude positive.

CloudStar purred "I'm sure you'll be a great mentor" she mewed sweetly "we'll have his ceremony tomorrow" she meowed "you can go, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to be giving too much responsibility to you, seeing as how you're really one of the only ones who know much about herbs"

Blizzardthroat
The she-cat puffed up her fur in pride as she received the praise, she dipped her head once more, purely out of habit at this point. Clearing her throat she spoke up, "I learned a lot about herbs when I was an apprentice, I broke my leg and had to spend a moon or two cooped up in there with the medicine cat at the time." Satisfied that she had explained herself and would be soon mentoring Rootkit the she-cat turned to leave.

CloudStar purred sweetly, stretching a bit. She looked away from BlizzardThroat, her gaze traveling over the rest of the clan. She sighed, yawning and laying down, her tail curling around her side

Rootkit was laying on his back and his paws were sticking out, he saw Blizzardthroat and he stood up and padded to her. " were you in trouble!?" He squeaked .
