He smiled as he listened to Mosspaw, nodding when he said that battle training sounds great. "Ok let's go! I may be older but I'm still an Apprentice at heart, sure you can keep up with me?" He joked and qstarted on his way to the exit of camp. He knew his Apprentice would follow so, he just walked at his normal pace. He was going to teach Mosspaw like his mentor had taught him.

Mosspaw's tail whipped slightly when Ravenfeather nodded.
"Ok let's go! I may be older but I'm still an Apprentice at heart, sure you can keep up with me?" A mischievous smile crept up to Mosspaw's face.
"I can probably do more than keep up with you," he replied, starting to catch up with his mentor as he went toward the exit of camp. Mosspaw had enjoyed fishing, but he didn't know how good he actually was at fighting. Who knos, maybe he would be good at that too?

He smiled, "I'm sure you can, you are very smart and you can use that to your advantage" he said as they exited the camp and headed towards the training area. His muscles were still stiff and he started to feel like an elder but, he wasn't that old yet. It was just recovery and he wished it would go away soon.. he just wasn't going to let it get in the way of training. He had to stop and stretch, making sure he felt better before proceeding, looking at Mosspaw, "Sorry.. still a little stiff but that isn't going to make it easy" he smiled. He knew his apprentice was very smart, he had caught a fish on his first try. Now he would train him to fight and he knew he could use his smarts for this just the same as fishing.. fishing used patients and smarts, battle training took smarts, observation and predictions.. at least that his what his mentor had taught him. Sometimes cats had to use their own styles as well so, that is what he did and he will train him to the best he can.

Soulstar - Leader - Camp - Mentions:

He was glad to see his clan working together and working on its own as he healed. Picking through the fresh kill pile he selected a small mouse and ate slowly, his clan was getting better at hunting the small prey so everyone was getting at least one piece of prey a day. Stretching after his meager meal he flicked his long tail and decided to go for a hunt.

Darkpaw - Apprentice - Camp - Mentions: Soulstar

Seeing her leader and father leaving camp she ripped at the ground in frustration, she'd been training so hard! So had Mosspaw, but he seemed to be avoiding their warrior ceremony since Troutpaw and Clearfox had disappeared. Taking a deep breath she calmed herself, and went out after him.

Clearfox - Troutpaw

Clearfox purrs, smiling down at Troutpaw. "Let's go home."
She puts her tail on the apprentice briefly, but also warmly. With a sigh, she heads towards home with Troutpaw. It wasn't much of a journey, but they just saved the clan. She hopes it will be enough for her kits to accept her again.

TroutPaw--ClearFox

TroutPaw padded alongside ClearFox, the apprentice's tail straight up. Though she didn't do much, she felt good that she'd come along. Should she tell the other apprentices? Or let it get announced later on? She paused a moment to decide, then decided that she'd wait till someone asked where they had been. She caught up to ClearFox's side, occasionally bounding ahead a bit before stopping to let ClearFox catch up

Clearfox - Troutpaw, Soulstar, Mosspaw, Darkpaw

Clearfox walked alongside Troutpaw, proudly having her head up.
"Hey.. do you think my kits love me?" She says, her head going down a bit. They had quite a walk, so she better ask now before their time together ran out.
"I feel like they hate me since I left.. they loved your mother so much. It made my heart break in a million pieces." She swallows, being quiet suddenly.
She thinks of Soulstar, how broken he was when she came back. She will spend the rest of her life making up for her mistakes.

TroutPaw paused in her steps, caught off guard by ClearFox's question. She nodded "of course they do, ClearFox. They've never hated you, it was just so sudden--your leaving and your return--that they didn't knw how to react" she gently nudged ClearFox "they love you. If I know them well enough, then they wouldn't hate you. They loved my mother so much, but that's cause they didn't know how badly she needed you back. It hurt SilverClaw to see them so easily mix into our family while you were away" her head lowered a bit, but she tried to keep strong. She had to keep strong, for ClearFox

"I guess so, " Mosspaw replied. They exited camp and began walking towards the training area. He was relatively small next to his mentor, so he let out a small laugh as he looked over and could see directly past his legs. Ravenfeather stopped and stretched, and Mosspaw stopped at the same time and stretched with him. "That's alright. Isn't it good to stretch before training anyway?" He smiled a bit, and army crawled forward while waiting for Ravenfeather.

He smiled, "I guess it is.." He let out a laugh at seeing Mosspaw crawl. He copied him and went after him, playfully tapping his apprentices Nose with his tail tip when he reached him, going right beside him. He purred and continued to play around, clearing his throat after a few minutes and standing up. "Yes.. well.. we better get going to train before it gets dark" he smiled.

"Ok, lets try the bourders of the feild then," Dewwhisker meowed, he flicked his tail. The apprentice was clearly uncertain but correct.
"I can lead the way," Dewwhisker added, he started on his way to the feild then turnes to walk to the bourder. A few scents started tickling his nose.

Mosspaw heard his mentor laugh, and soon felt a tail tap on his nose. He sneezed, and shook his head. Mosspaw looked over at his mentor who was now crawling beside him. He smiled, and watched as Ravenfeather got up, saying they should begin training. Mosspaw got to his feet and matched his mentors pace to the training center. But Ravenfeather's legs were quite a bit longer, so every stride was two or three of Mosspaw''s.

He looked at Mosspaw, "we are going to start with the basics.. first on how to dodge and such before we can attack. Dodging could save your life.." He said truthfully. He stood in front of his Apprentice, "ok so, if your opponent is coming at you head on, it is easier to jump out of the way.. either side is easy but if they know what you are going to do, then they will probably try and knock you over or tackle you.. but let's practice dodging." He smiled as he looked at his Apprentice, "ok ready? I'm going to run at you"
