Wildkit rolled around in the dirt, clawing at a feather that had fallen off a dead bird in the fresh kill pile. The feather was shredded in no time and Wildkit decided that she may as well find something else to do. Wildkit padded up to Beetlekit who seemed occupied chewing on bones. That didn't stop Wildkit from sitting down close to him, "What are you up to?" She licked dirt off her paws as she waited for his answer.

Wildkit sighed, "Hm, I see." She looked around, to see if there was anything to play with. There was nothing, the camp was relatively clean. Wildkit had a sudden idea, "We could go out and explore!" She didn't know when she was going to become an apprentice but she could not wait to see what was beyond the campgrounds.

Poisonpaw soon kept his cries to himself, trying to keep calm and breathe, his heart racing at what seemed moons from normal. He had no idea how warriors usually kept to themselves about wounds like this, surprisingly to him this felt more painful than expected. Before he was about to give up, he heard pawsteps nearby, struggling to move his head to look up and see who it was who had possibly heard him, his vision blurry. He couldn't see who it was yet, but by the amount of noise at least two of his clanmates were coming to help, relief striking his body.

He looked as Mosspaw got out of the way just in time. It was a little too close and he almost smashed into him but thank Starclan he hadn't.. he stopped and turned to Mosspaw, "good.. let's go again.." He said as he turned and faced Mosspaw, making sure he was ready before he lunged. He wasn't going to give him a notice before he ran at him, he was going to try a lot of things.. he would soon give an unexpected attack but, since he hadn't done it yet, maybe he would be caught off guard.

Mosspaw was glad he hadn't gotten hit yet, but he didn't let his guard down when Ravenfeather lunged again. Mosspaw jumped out of the way a little bit sooner this time, but landing on a loose pebble on the ground made him loose his balance. His paws sprawled out from underneath him as Ravenfeather went past, and he scrambled to get back to his feet.

He looked as his Apprentice had fallen down and scrambled to get back up.. he raised an eyebrow and didn't try anything.. "ok.. let's try this again.." He said as he moved. He sounded less warm this time.. he was getting tired but it wasn't showing. Nothing said how he felt, his expression was blank and his voice was just a little cold. He stood ready and without warning lunged as fast as he could at his Apprentice.

As soon as Mosspaw had gotten to his feet, he saw Ravenfeather barreling towards him. He quickly rolled to the side and got to his feet. He could feel his blood pumping faster, but he was trying to focus on when his mentor would strike again. He flicked his tail back and forth, tensed and ready to move again.

He saw him move and with an out stretched paw, batted at his side. He of course didn't use claws.. he just batted at him.. he didn't expect it to hurt if he had landed it.. he was just teaching him how he was taught. He hoped he had at least grazed the cats side with the fluff on his paw. If he didn't it really wasn't a big deal to him either way.. after this he intended to go rest.

Slypaw ~ Mentions: Dewwhisker

He nodded to show that he'd got the message, not wanting to scare possible prey away. Then he softly started stalking, following the borders of the horse field. After a short while he stopped, he'd heard something. He opened his mouth the taste the smell. Squirrel . A tough animal to grab, so certainly he had to try. He took a moment to locate it's exact position and to check which way the wind was blowing. He was standing downwind from the animal, a good spot. He crouched down a bit further, one of his ears flicking to get rid of an itch there, then he slowly stalked forward, careful to only step on fresh grass and dirt. The moment he saw the squirrel, the squirrel also noticed him, but Slypaw had launched himself forward before the creature could even think about running of. He landed neatly this time, pinning the fluffy thing to the ground before he quickly finished it off. "Got it" He said proudly.

Mosspaw, tensed and ready, saw Ravenfeather bat out a paw at his side. He quickly moved but felt the tip of his mentor's paw graze his side. Darn, be faster! Getting an idea, Mosspaw jumped behind Ravenfeather, batting gently at his back. Mosspaw jumped backward right after that and into a bush to hide.

He smiled when his Apprentice managed to bat his back. He watched him go into the bushes and stretched, sitting down and licking his paws. His ear flicked as he listened for Mosspaw, though he would much rather go to camp and rest for a little while.. he was going to teach Mosspaw how to hunt around the trees and such later. He heard his stomach growl and decided as soon as Mosspaw came out of the bushes, they were going to go back and rest.
